Kas Cocita is a single-level apartment of 95 m² located in the quiet neighborhood of Sur Salinja, on the ground floor. The apartment overlooks a lush private garden. Isidel Beach Park is 1.5 kilometers away, and restaurant It Rains Fishes is just 1.3 kilometers from the front door. The nearest grocery store, Top Supermarket, is 1.6 kilometers away. Dive Friends Yellow Submarine dive center is only 750 meters away. The property features a jacuzzi in the garden – not a full swimming pool, but a cozy and exclusive hot tub experience reserved entirely for you.
Guest Access:
As a guest of Kas Cocita, you have full use of the entire apartment: the bedroom with king-size bed, the bathroom, the open living and dining area, the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, the private garden with jacuzzi, and the covered veranda. Parking is available both on the premises and on the street, free of charge and always close by. To give our guests a warm welcome and share everything they need to know about the property and our beautiful island, all arrivals are handled personally! The Sunwise hosts for Kas Cocita will coordinate your arrival time with you in advance.
The Neighborhood:
Kas Cocita is located in Sur Salinja, a quiet and leafy residential neighborhood just outside the center of Kralendijk. The area has a relaxed character and is popular with both locals and vacationers looking for some peace and quiet while staying close to all the amenities of the city. Sur Salinja is conveniently situated near the coast, with Isidel Beach Park and several dive sites within easy reach. The neighborhood is spacious, green, and relatively calm – a wonderful place to come home to after an active day on the water.
Getting Around:
Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Kas Cocita. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.
Other Things to Note:
Check-in to Kas Cocita is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
