Perfect location just off the main square. The breakfast area was being renovated so unable to comment. I stayed for 3 nights so didn’t feel the room needed housekeeping. The bed was super comfortable!

The location could not be better - right in the centre of Old Town. Breakfast is at a sister hotel just over the road at the Wyndham Hotel. I would say it was one of the best show of buffet breakfast I have ever enjoyed, the food, the variety and the staff all excellent. However, the carpets in the two rooms we stayed in at Unicus and in the corridor was probably as old as the hotel itself and very soiled not necessarily dirty but badly soiled with age - not something you want to walk on in bare feet. I would happily stay there again for it's convenient location and excellent breakfast but only when they have resolved the carpet issue.

Avoid this brand

I don’t know. I was involuntarily moved to a hotel further away from where I needed to be with no explanation. I still don’t know why after I’ve checked out. The other hotel (Unicus Palace) was incredibly annoying, hot, loud, toiletries smelled like a bad body odor, the shower head would only point down at the wall due to poor quality fixtures. Would never stay there or any of their hotels again. Terrible stay with this brand. Terrible.

Great choice!

I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again! It was very centrally located and it was an easy walk to everywhere I wanted to go. They arranged the car service for me to and from the airport and it went very smoothly. Breakfast was just down the street at another hotel and it was fabulous! Breakfast was very fancy with tons of options (they even had prosecco and crème brûlée at breakfast). The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly and answered all of my questions.

This property location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean tidy and spacious and the breakfast was outstanding. We could not have picked a better place to stay and would highly recommend it.

The furniture super dirty ,I wasn’t able to seat when see how dirty .
Walls super dirty (all over the areas )
Obviously no maintnance at all .
The elevator was broken , I had problem in my knee and this situación was terrible .

Great location and comfortable bed with a brilliant shower. Breakfast was amazing but sadly a little walk to another hotel for it. Wooden blinds in the room let sunlight in from 4am which made sleep difficult. Staff tried to be helpful and get us eye masks but it didn’t materialise so they sent us to a nearby shop to buy our own. We were a little disappointed in that

Good Location and Friendly Staff, But Warm Rooms

This hotel has an excellent location—close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The only downside was the room temperature. The air conditioning wasn’t very effective, so the room felt quite warm during our stay. It made sleeping a bit uncomfortable, especially on hotter days. Overall, a great spot with warm hospitality, but the cooling system could use some improvement.

Hotel Unicus has everything you can ask for in an Old Town hotel. You’re steps away from the busy Florianska, a minute walk from the main square, and a 15-20 minute walk to Kazimierz.
