Excellent location, close to everything: old town, train station, nice large quiet room, friendly reception staff accommodated our request for higher floor room; however, room service was not good: for the four nights stand vanity kit was provided only twice, when asked about it staff apologies, promised to bring it, but never did. The carpet floor in the room was not vacuum cleened for at least the last two days of my stay (after I noticed a piece of garbage in the middle of the room and remained there until my checkout. Asked for a hotel concierge recommendation for a barber shop, and he promised to get back to me with recommendations but never did. This is definitely a 5-star hotel service.

The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring and the hotel itself was fantastic and quiet. We also had a lovely meal in the hotel’s restaurant, the food was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will be returning to use it again in the future.

This hotel was a fantastic blend of modern features and old-school touches. It was very easy to walk to tourist sites and the train station. All employees were friendly and I felt very safe there as a solo female traveler.

The structure and decor of the property is sublime. We had a deluxe room with a sitting room, gorgeous bedroom, huge and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was exquisite. Fixtures and decor throughout gave an air of class and luxury from bygone times. The dining room was very nice with a good choice of breakfast foods. The only let down was the quite poor service from what appeared to be young, inexperienced, untrained male receptionists. The female receptionist who greeted us on arrival was the opposite - helpful, friendly and professional. The others seemed to lack customer care and were ineffective when a couple of things went wrong. Their manner and problem solving traits were not quite there. There was also an issue with housekeeping who tried to charge us for mini bar items that we hadn't used - they had just forgot to replace items from the previous day so had assumed we had used the items twice. Apart from that this is a lovely hotel.

The hotel staff customer service was excellent. The room is spaceous. The only complaint is the shower getting shower can be dangerous with high difference when step out of the shower. There are no handle if someone is older or have mobility problem. The breakfast buffet was above and beyond. Good quality selection with individual order option. Great hotel. 5 star !!
