We had a wonderful 7-day stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for international travel. I especially appreciated the hotel’s mobile app, which made it easy to order room service and request items such as a side-sleeper pillow and extra towels. The in-house rewards points system for spending within the hotel was also a nice perk. Our Victoria Harbour view was absolutely stunning and made the stay even more memorable. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the second level and ended up dining there several times during our stay. The breakfast selection was excellent with a wide variety of options. In comparison, we found the breakfast offerings stronger than the dinner selections. One service detail that stood out occurred during the breakfast buffet: we were initially seated at a very small table in a crowded area. When I asked about moving to a larger table in a quieter space, none were available at the time. Although we stayed put, a staff member later came to inform us as soon as a larger table opened and moved us promptly. I was very impressed by that level of attentiveness and follow-through. Most of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visit. A special shout-out to Patrick Wong, the manager at the lobby lounge. When the hostess initially declined to seat us by the window despite visible availability, Patrick stepped in and arranged a window table for us. This level of service was greatly appreciated,

The room is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay here a lot. Breakfast buffet has many good options however dim sum items were weak which I were surprised bc this is Hong Kong. It is in a nice location. The bus from airport is closeby, the bridge is next to the hotel to harbour walk, and a very short walk to shopping and restaurant areas.

My 2nd stay. The room is clean as usual. The staff are courteous and friendly. Particularly check-in staff May was especially helpful and polite. We were given complimentary drink when the room was not ready, and also complementary breakfast for our stay (a pleasant surprise). Overall, a great stay and was very consistent with what I remember when I stayed there many years and times before. The view was even better than I remember and the staff was equally as nice. The rooms could be updated though, but had enough modern amenities like USB and water filter. The bathroom was great with a separate shower and bath tub. The concierge staff was also helpful with suggestions especially Charlie. The breakfast was great, but we only did it on the last morning because in order to get the discount, we had to commit to it the night before. I do not know of another property that does this, and you actually lost revenue on the other two mornings by us going offsite to get breakfast somewhere else because we did not want to pay 30% or so more then the discounted price. If we are staying there and a Shangri-La member, we should get the discount, period. Other than that, it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend in return.
