Venus Studio: Hottub, King Bed, Kayak, Bikes, SUP,

Comfortable home-feel type large modern studio apartment with high ceilling. Second floor, no elevator. Private space and separate entry. Enjoy the quiet space, gorgeous sunset view, and beautiful landscape, and smell the roses (during the season.) Listen to the birds, and smell the salty air and relaxing.

Cozy large bedroom, large bathroom, and walk-in closet. Smart TV with Netflix access. Small fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. No kitchen.
Plates, cups, glasses, and silverware are included.
Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, coffee filters, and sugar.
There are linens for the bed and one set of bath towels but please bring your own beach towels.
We have one double bike, three regular bikes, a kayak for two people, and a stand-up paddleboard. These are shared among guests from two other apartments. We don't have direct access to the water. However, we're a two-minute walk to the Albemarle Sound access, and a boardwalk makes it perfect for a sunset stroll. We're about a ten-minute walk to the ocean.
There's a distant view of the ocean from the bathroom and closet windows Bedroom faces the sound but the water view is blocked by trees.

Please note that the studio is located on the 2nd floor via outdoor stairs. If you have difficulty walking up the stairs, check out my other apartments on the ground floor.

Great Off-Season Weekend Getaway

The stay at this VRBO couldn’t have been any better. The backyard view, with all the blooming flower beds and foliage was amazing. The area was very quiet and private. Even though there are other rentals to pick from at this place we never saw anyone. Having the bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards was also a great feature. The walk to the beach was simple and easy. The room itself was large and adequate for what we wanted. We were hardly at the rental during the day. Lots of activities to enjoy in the OBX area. Well worth visiting and staying. The decor was very inviting with a relaxing motif. Towels were adequate, the kitchen fineries were simple but had what we wanted. The frig-freezer made it nice to have food items for sandwiches. The microwave cooked a few things when we needed it warmed up. Best little place in town. ❤️

The place is big! Comfortable bed, soft sheets! Nice large door and windows overlooking a pretty garden (bright in the morning!) and a very friendly cat! Another guest had a dog(s) which we heard a few times. The 2 patio chairs could use some new cushions but we just took them off.

Fantastic location

The place was nice and clean. Parking was a bit confusing but ok. Communication was almost nonexistent. The unit was quite difficult to physically get to, upstairs in the back of the building down a gravel path, with our luggage was difficult. A 4 day stay for 2 people and only 3 towels was also a bit tough. There was only a Queen size blanket on a king sized bed. The entry was a sliding glass door with a very difficult key system. The people in the unit next door were smoking and drinking outside. Otherwise it was as pictured.

Great location

The property owners have a great location and make it very convenient to use their bikes on the Wright Brothers multi use path. Even though I did not use it, their kayaks are available to the sound side just down the hill from their property. If you own your own boat, there is also a wildlife access point on the sound side very close to their property.

There was no hot tub and the description for beach access was incorrect. There was no beach with sand, only a deck on sound side. Too far a walk by road to use kayak. Too far a walk to ocean side. Nothing really in walking distance as far as restaurants or stores.

The place is really clean, host is very welcoming, received extra perks of free coffee. Definitely check out their Outer Beans Cafe, the food, the coffee, and the juices are amazing! I loved my stay with Necla, she is an amazing host! Thank you so much for such a warm welcome and for everything!
