Situated in the heart of Duck, you’ll have easy access to local dining, shops, and other attractions, while still enjoying the peaceful seclusion of this beautiful home.

Enjoy the private pool, hot tub, volleyball court, and outdoor shower, or head to the game room for some indoor entertainment.

Inside, the home offers plenty of space for everyone, with comfortable rooms and cozy areas for gathering with family and friends. Whether you're lounging on the deck, enjoying the spacious living areas, or relaxing in one of the bedrooms, The Best Duck In a Row is designed for both relaxation and fun.

Please note: If you have allergies or dislike sea grass, humid climates, flowering shrubs, sea mist, sand, rain, wind, sand crabs, surfers, kayakers, bikers, kids having fun, and dogs....then our place may not be a good fit for you. If not, we welcome you to stay at our house!
Want to beat the traffic?! We offer FREE 2 pm. Check-in to outdoor spaces!
The cleaning crew will be on site until 3:45pm. You can use the pool, outdoor games, outdoor shower, and beach access.

Note: We recommend guests purchase travel insurance if traveling during hurricane season.

DOGS ALLOWED! fee per dog (sorry, no cats allowed)

Guests are required to sign our Renter Agreement in addition to any platform agreement.
Per platform policies, Good Day Getaways is authorized to hold a security deposit due to our API integration with their platform. Guests are required to provide this deposit at least 2 days before the start of their stay. The deposit will be held securely and released within 7 days after the stay, in accordance with platform policy, provided there are no issues.

This house had everything: hot tub, heated pool ( added cost and we ended up not really needing the heat because the weather was great), walk to center of Duck, access to beach, lots of outdoor spaces to use including grill. I would definitly stay again.

We would definitely stay here again. The house was extremely clean and spacious! There were so many activities from sand volleyball, putt putt golf, firepit with large yard, pool, hot tub, out door games, outdoor grill and the list goes on. Every morning we saw beautiful deer and different birds in the yard around 7am. The host was excellent at getting back with us in a timely manner with any questions we had. We highly recommend this home for a beautiful, relaxing vacation.

We had such a great time, the pool, hot tub and the distance to the beach was amazing. Great to have a fenced in area for our dogs to hang out while we enjoyed the pool. Homeowners were great to chat with!! I definitely recommend a stay at this home!

Family getaway

Long weekend with the family. Great location and house. Short walk to the beach and Duck. Very relaxing by the pool and firepit. Great selection of games and books. A perfect getaway.

Long weekend getaway

We had a nice stay at Scott's place. The decor and furnishings are new and beachy. You are right next to a busy street but from the inside you can't hear the noise. The hot tub was very relaxing in the evening. If we come back to Duck NC we would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! The host’s communication was prompt, friendly, and clear, making planning a breeze. I have stayed in VRBO homes often. This is the first one that did not provide basic essentials. Upon arrival there was not any hand soap, dish soap and trash bags. I did contact the host to ask if those items are provided and he said there should be soap at each sink and also the other items should be there to get us started. He sent housekeeping to provide us with 3 trash bags, one had soap and one dish soap. There are no oven mitts and bath mats so we used bath and hand towels. I requested more towels and was refused saying you only get 1 set per guest. 3 additional towels cost 35.00. He suggested we wash our towels. That was not the issue, we simply did not have enough. 3 women would have liked an extra towel for wet hair, bath mats are nice to step on from the shower and oven mitts are needed if using the oven. Also the pans provided need to be replaced because food especially eggs stick to them terribly. We all felt like the place was not as clean as depicted in the pictures. The floors had lots a hair clumps as well as 2 showers. The host suggested I send photos but honestly I feel like my word should suffice. The pool and hot tub were nice. We paid as much as friends at other homes and theirs were much nicer (we were all in the OBX for a wedding)
