We stayed here for two nights, and while the home served its purpose, it is definitely a standard older beach house that is starting to show its age. I’ll preface this by saying I’m a bit of a "Marriott snob" when I travel, so I likely have higher expectations for maintenance and cleanliness than most.The Interior & Maintenance:There are several minor upkeep items that would significantly improve the stay. The walls are in need of a fresh coat of paint, and the bed linens and shower curtain are a bit dingy. We also found that the tub plug was broken, and the Keurig wasn't working. We did notice some minor “beach bugs" inside as well. It would also be great to have some extra blankets available for guest comfort.Outdoor Spaces:The exterior of the home is its strongest suit!The Deck: The back deck offers a breathtaking, perfect view of the sunrise. Hearing the ocean every morning was the highlight of the trip.Amenities: The "under the deck" items were a great addition, though they were quite covered in pollen and required a wipe-down before use. That said, the hot tub was fabulous, and the outdoor shower had wonderful water pressure.Location: The access to the public beach is incredibly easy and convenient.Overall:The home satisfied our needs for a place to lay our heads for two nights, but it feels like it’s missing some TLC.
