Wonderful location. Very clean and awesome pool after hot days on the beach. We loved our stay. Layout of house was awesome. Decks were great to relax on and plenty of space. We will for sure consider booking again in future.

Well appointed and cozy home

We've never seen a better stocked kitchen. Everything you could possibly need! Very comfortable home with a great pool area. Comes with private beach parking pass. Very beachy home. We would for sure stay again.

Wonder time at a wonderful location

My family of five spent a fantastic week soaking up the sun and soaking in the pool, at this fabulous beach house. Close to the beach, stores, and restaurants, we enjoyed every day to the fullest. The neighborhood was quiet, relaxing, and amazing to walk around in the evenings. We also took advantage of the basketball courts, which were a nice walk away. Highly recommend this house!

Great Hideaway

House was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Kitchen well stocked. The location was wonderful. Beach access nearby, short drive to Duck or up to the by pass. Private pool was a plus.

Great get away!

Close to ocean and convenience of pool in backyard. Great experience in a quiet neighborhood. Not in hustle and bustle of beach road but close to everything. Loved it, nice cottage/home away from home!

Perfect beach getaway

Coastal hideaways was the best spot for a family beach vacation in the outer banks. The house is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean! A short walk, bike, or drive to the beach. We biked into Duck, about a 2 mile ride. We will be back!

Very nice vacation rental.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice and clean. It’s a short walk to the beach. The totally private pool was a plus. Loved the top deck for morning tea. Nice kitchen (fully equipped). Comfy beds. Easy check-in and check-out. Hope to stay again and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic beach house nestled in quiet neighborhood

This was the perfect "home away from home" for our family beach trip. It was clean, nicely updated, and had lovely beach decor. The private pool and outside decks are great. The home was quiet and private with all the trees. Definitely within walking distance to the beach, but we drove. Very short drive! Highly recommend.

The house was very nice and very clean and quiet. If I had to say something negative it was the sadness of the bed in the master bedroom. It literally sank in when you got in. The other thing would be the size of the refrigerator…it was very small and didn’t store much. Other than that…the pool was amazing and overall we had a very nice time. We would stay there again.

Fantastic OBX vacation at Coastal Hideaway

Coastal Hideaway is the perfect beach getaway. The home was clean and well stocked. Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking and baking - loved the sharp knives. The beach is a short walk - we used the property’s beach cart and cooler. Afternoons and evenings in the pool were great for the kids. The pool is completely private with no other houses in sight - so relaxing!! We appreciated the gas grill and enjoyed the screened in porch. It was very nice that the home was on one level, especially since we have young kids and we didn’t have to worry about stairs. Will definitely be back!

Amazing house- PERFECT location

We loved everything about our stay at this house. The interior design is amazing with more than enough room for everyone. The 5 min (or less) walk to the beach is great as the street has a stoplight at the intersection which makes crossing with small children hassle free. 1 mile drive or walk into Duck. Ample deck space with plenty of seating for everyone. We loved that we could hear the waves crashing from the screened in porch in the mornings and evenings. Great communication from the owners and vacasa leading up to the trip as well. Will 100% stay here again and recommend this home to anyone. You WILL NOT be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Beautiful home for your OBX getaway

My family and I absolutely loved this home. The location was perfect, we had privacy, but was close to everything. They had tons of toys for the pool, useful things like chairs/umbrella for the beach and even a wagon to haul it all there! The house was stocked with puzzles, games & smart TV's for any days spent inside. We walked or biked to the beach each day, since we didn't have a pass to park. Even though the home is allowed to park in the lot at the beach, we weren't given any passes to use. We found a few great restaurants to recommend as well: - Village Table & Tavern (Duck) - Paper Canoe (Duck) - Bangkok (Duck) - Ocean BLVD (Southern Shores) - The Chill Spot (Corolla) Steamers was overrated and we heard the same about NC Grille, so didn't go there. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking in the area.

A perfect reset

My family and I thought that everything about our stay at your home was perfection. We loved the pool (which was clean and perfect) and everything about the home itself. We enjoyed the beach daily and loved that it took us maybe 5 minutes to walk there. The turtle ponds on either side of the walk were a treat for our kids. Access was wonderful and the beach itself was beautiful. We also loved being able to access the sound right down the street and had a nice quiet family walk there on our last day of vacation. It was close to Duck for nice meals and walks on the boardwalk. It was also close to a grocery store, which was helpful because we cooked most of our meals at the house. The kitchen had just about everything we needed (the only thing that would be nice is a pair of tongs, and some better cooking utensils, but we made do). The vacation was a perfect reset for us after a stressful school and work year. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us!
