It was a nice stay. Elizabeth, the desk clerk for check in was excellent and accommodating. So sweet and genuine. Room was comfortable. All good EXCEPT hot tub doesn't work.

They could have used some cushions for the chairs on the patio and the chairs indoors in the restaurant were uncomfortable to sit in as they were too narrow. Food and wine was great though!

My husband and I went for a short get away. The front office staff was so kind and welcoming. The hotel had complementary e-bikes which I tried for the first time. We rode all the way to Cranbrook. It was a beautiful ride. In the evening we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was superb. My husband had the duck with a yummy risotto, I had an appetizer of chicken mushroom wontons. The staff offered us blankets while we enjoyed our dinner on the patio. The desserts were yummy. The room was beautiful. We would absolutely come back!

Absolute gem in Kimberley

Our stay at the Alaric was absolutely delightful. Staff are all welcoming friendly and helpful. Amy does an outstanding job in overseeing at preparing the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast is one of the nicest for selection, presentation and freshness The garden and patio are so beautiful and reflating The sauna is superb We really enjoyed our double bedroom and found mattresses and pillows to be extremely comfortable. The sitting areas and snack locations are well maintained and stocked Loved the history of the hotel, the wonderful and varied books on site and perfect location Wonderful stay and look forward to returning

Property makes a person feel like they are at home. The rooms were very nice but could need brighter lighting for the older person who may have vision problems. Coffee material were out in the hallway among the other people which was awkward as you had to in line just for a coffee or tea.
