Rail in front of room door bout to break not safe! Balcony door not locking - had to move to another floor which was inconvenient!! Why pay this price having to deal with these issues being not a safety priority for their customers!!!

We enjoyed our recent stay! The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Big balcony. Convenient free parking. Onsite restaurant was great. Decor, furniture and finishes were outdated if your into those kinds of things being modern. Balcony door in our room didn’t lock, so if you have small children that is not ideal (may have just been our room). Air conditioning was not cooling as much as we would have liked, but we are used to it being 68 at home and this one would cool to 74-72 with it being set as low as it would allow on the thermostat. Not unbearable by any means; you just may need a fan if you like it cold. We would stay again in the future.

Cigarette and pot smoke everywhere including the lobby, elevator and on the balcony. Sheer curtains were black at the top. Spill stains on thefloor near the refrigerator. Slider glass fogged so you can't see the view. Rude housekeeping staff member. HVAC would not cool room. Non working receptacles. Rusty tub drain. Very tired property.

I stayed here three nights. My room was on the 5th level and had a balcony with awesome views of the beach. The bathroom was recently renovated and everything worked well, including good water pressure and instant warm water. Some parts of my room had clear signs of aging and deterioration (ceiling paint stains, peeling, rust on balcony, etc). Lots of the exposed exterior hallways and common areas have same issues and they should be cleaner. Two access areas to the beach with hoses and foot wash were convenient. The onsite restaurant is convenient as it serves breakfast lunch and dinner with some good seafood selections. There was plenty of parking available at the property each day and night.

Everything from check in to check out was great. Very friendly staff, especially young lady working the desk on the day shift. Would 10 out of 10 recommend Sea Ranch to everyone. Please check out the Beachside Bistro there, awesome food and staff.

Needs an update

As soon as you walk in the door, it smells of mold. The ramp to get up to the desk is damaged and halfway repaired hard to get your luggage over the Knicks and crannies. I’ve thrown better furniture in the garbage than they had in the room. Couch was disgusting. I would not even sit on it. The people were very nice though. I was in. room 113 which is right by the back door on the first floor people slammed that door all night long coming in and out. You will not get any sleep if you’re in that room. I tried to upload the pictures of the ragged furniture and mold all around the tub and the stains and holes in the ceiling but it says my photos exceed size limit but trust me it’s not very nice.
