Perfect Beach Getaway – Can’t Wait to Return!

We had such a wonderful stay at this home! It was incredibly comfortable, well-equipped with everything you need for the beach, and just a short walk to the sand. It made for the perfect, relaxing getaway. We truly enjoyed every moment and will absolutely stay again!

Beautiful home very close to the beach

This home was a great find! It’s immaculate, comfortable, roomy, with great beachy decor. We loved how close it was to the beach- only took a couple of minutes to walk there. That beach access point was never crowded the whole week we were there.

Best Rental Ever!

Home is well maintained, has a nice lay-out, is a few steps from a lovely beach, kitchen is well stocked with untensils, pots and pans, etc. and rental company is very responsive to questions/concerns.

Great stay!

Although the weather didn’t cooperate very well, we had a nice, relaxing stay! The house was very comfortable and homey and was stocked with all the necessities.

Fabulous house near the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Kiawah for spring break and our stay in this house. Everything was perfect: the location next to the beach and just off Eugenia Ave, the house itself was large and clean with everything a vacationing family might need, and the property managers were communicative and responsive. Recommended.

Wonderful Rental!

This home was everything we could have asked for on Kiawah Island! Very comfortable layout and beautifully decorated. Close enough to beach to hear the waves. The back deck overlooking pond was a great for reading and dining. Lots of wildlife to keep us entertained! Thank you to the awesome hosts!

Perfect place for Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful stay in this home for a long weekend over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen had everything we needed for a full Thanksgiving meal with plenty of serving pieces! We’ve been to Kiawah several times and were pleasantly surprised how close the house was to the beach. Would definitely come back!

Surfscouter Kiawah Island

The place was absolutely stunning the hosts were amazing. Distance to the ocean was like a minute's walk! It has everything you could possibly need for a big family of six. Will definitely book again 🤗

Splendous Stay at Surfscoter

Wonderful home with a great location! Great space, clean, well cared for, with all the accessories needed. We hope to be back to Kiawah next year and Surfscoter will be our first pick. We have come every summer for years, and this is our favorite place we have stayed.

Great location, close to the beach! Warm, clean, cozy and spacious home!

Our stay was short but sweet. Your house was perfect for a quick stop on our east coast family road trip. Close to a beautiful beach, great biking, walking trails, enjoyed a nice restaurant for dinner and house itself is warm, clean and cozy with plenty of sunlight and plenty of room for family of five! 3 Generation Trip

We had 6 people in our group. Mother, daughter, daughter trip. it was a perfect location, a very short walk to the beach that was beautiful. and house was well stocked, there is a grocery store right up the road, very convenient. We saw a few alligators right out the back yard, was fun to see them. very quite neighborhood. would stay there again.

Lovely, Comfortable Home

Nicely decorated, exceptionally comfortable home. Loved the views of the lagoon, hanging Spanish moss. Ducks and Egrets. Exceptionally well furnished kitchen. We hope to return.

Great location!

This house was a very short walk away from the beach, and was quite comfortable. It backs onto a lagoon with alligators, and my one suggestion would be that a gate be installed at the bottom of the stairs off the deck to reduce the chance of a gator wandering on to the deck.

Great property, great vacation

Our anniversary trip was wonderful. The house was spacious and clean. We loved that it was a block from the beach. There's nothing like walking in the sand and feeling the ocean breeze. We recommend the Kiawah Island restaurants, and we really appreciated the convenience of the Freshfields center which included a grocery. If we're in the Charleston area in the future, we will return to Surfscoter.
