Having a fan in the room or air conditioning in the rooms would make it nice for the very hot summer days - other than that it was a good stay! Recommend for a well.maintained comfy stay on your journey

The location was excellent. Parking a little bit of a challenge. The room was clean and with lots of thoughtful things like personal toothbrush and slippers. The restaurant was good food and good service. Housekeeping was amazing. Very helpful. Unfortunately there was construction out front at night which made falling asleep a little more difficult. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Convenient location, fairly priced, gives you the basics needed for a home base to go back to after exploring Kenora & surrounding area (bed, shower, tv). Walls are quite thin, may not be able to count on sleeping in. Could hear kids laughing at 9am in another room loud enough to make it sound like they were in the same room. Or perhaps they were in the shared entrance area and it was a doorway sound proofing.issue, either way it was disruptive.

We were not able to stay at LakeVu Motel. My husband was immediately stuffed up from the mould in the room. The staff member who checked us in was very helpful and apologized for the condition of the room.

Only one washcloth was provided in room, I did get a second from the close by store where you check in. The coffee maker wasn't cleaned when we arrived- had been used. No hot water for showers. Nice fluffy pillows.

The office closed at 9pm so I needed to make sure we arrived by then which was difficult. Their wifi was down so I couldn’t check in for at least a half hour. The shower nozzle was about 4’ high from the floor. There was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived. The staff were quite friendly however and the room was kind of what I thought it would be at such a cheap rate. Kinda clean, not updated or remodeled, but cheap. Good enough for a work trip. Overall I am satisfied with my stay.

It was a place to sleep, not much for TV to relax as I fell asleep. Shower took forever to figure out as part of the mechanism was broken, very little hot water. The room was clean but the air circulation was very loud. Restaurant was excellent close by.

Difficulties finding out the motel office was in the gas station, very busy place.Very small parking lot for our cargo van,but we made it work with the help of 2 bikers. No room A/C but room was comfortable. Would like to suggest drop box for room keys. The gas station doesn't open until 7am and we desired to leave sooner.
