Good value accommodation

Great place to stay near the airport. 8 drive time to the airport and 5 mins to Avra which has a good restaurant. Pool is good and breakfast is nice. Easy to get to and communication with the owners is good by message and mobile.

Atterri très tardivement (23 heures), après échange par mail avec l’hôtel, un taxi nous attendait à l’aéroport. A l’hôtel, bémol pour avoir le numéro de chambre, celle-ci devant nous être communiquée le jour même ce qui n’à pas été fait. Merci au taxi qui a appelé le propriétaire pour récupérer les clés et le numéro de chambre. Autre point d’attention : de janvier (mois de ma réservation) à mai, j’ai transmis plusieurs emails à l’hôtel pour les prévenir de notre arrivée tardive et les questionner sur certains points. Il nous a fallu attendre fin mai (énième relance), soit environ 15 jours avant notre arrivée, pour avoir des réponses à mes interrogations. Côté petit-déjeuner, simple mais bon et suffisant. Côté lieu : l’hôtel se trouve dans un coin un’peu reculé, pas forcément évidé à trouver la 1ère fois. Bref, 4 étoiles parce que cette structure offre de beaux appartements au calme même si l’aéroport est à proximité.

DENIED ENTRY! DO NOT BOOK! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Booked this hotel because it had luggage storage. We were forced to go to a different hotel because there was no front desk or anyone to let us in. We contacted both the property and hotels.com and both did not respond 12 hours later. There was one employee there who was cleaning but instead of helping she swiped dirt into our backpack. We spent an hour by the pool, getting bug bites, and sitting on stained wet chairs. The area is void of human necessities for survival, including but not limited to: bathrooms, places to buy water, shelter, and access to transportation. The only redeeming quality was that it was close to the airport and we were able to walk on a partially unpaved road trying not to step on dead animals. While this sounds ridiculous, we agree, and can attest that all of this is true. This was a lowlight of our trip that would have ruined our trip had we not been able to get another hotel. We hope someday we will look back and laugh but that day has not yet come. After the owner became aware of the problem they still would not let us in and instead responded to our first review saying they were offended by it and still not giving us instructions about how to enter our rooms. Hotels.com refused to refund us and called us liars because they "have a contract with the property" and the property held the room for us for 3 nights. But this is illogical because (1) they are lying and (2) it doesn't matter if they held the property if they wouldn't let us in.
