A charming and quiet hotel and the staff was very lovely and helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel had very good food. I had options for breakfast lunch and dinner and also this hotel was attached to 7-Eleven so even when the restaurant was closed, I was still able to get some food as well.

The room was great - clean, roomy, fresh, new. The people at the front desk were knowledgable and helpful. The downside is there is pretty much nothing around the hotel to do or go to. The hotel is surrounded by U of Tokyo campus. We went to the restaurant in the lobby when they opened and they said they are closed for a special event and that we should take a bus to a restaurant. A couple hours later, after taxi rides to and from a restaurant, we returned to find no activity in the restaurant even though their menu was out and they were open. Confusing and inconvenient to tired and hungry travelers.

Hotel is fine, but location is not convenient
Hotel is fine, but it is too far away from rail/subway/eating place (25mins walk to Kashiwanoha station, don't know why google say it is only 4 mins walk...) Chose this because it seems nearer to Narita but it is not, it took me the same time to drive to Yokohama from airport (approx 1 hour), but Yokohama is much closer to Tokyo in terms of rail (35mins vs 1 hour+25mins walk), and it took me 2 more hours drive to reach Chiba when I return from Shizuoka.
