First things first: this property is on a steep mountainside! You *will* get exhausted walking up here. That out of the way, the suite was nice enough for its price, a good distribution of power sockets, and a nice countertop for storage. The two balconies are a great addition, though one of them is too close to a road for comfort, as it's trivially easy to jump the distance - don't keep the door open if you're not home! The negatives about the unit include the water-damaged and broken bathroom, where the over-mirror lighting is disconnected, the shower tray leaks, and the ceiling has evidence of water damage. Further, though the owners made efforts to repair settling cracks in the wall, the rough-shod nature of these repairs leaves a lot to be desired. These negatives, and its exercise-friendly location, aside, the property is a good value-for-money deal, and is perfect for a weeklong stay.

Decent apartment near center Kas

Decent apartment at walking distance from the Marina (steep climb) in Kas. As a family of 4, the apartment gave us space and good basic comfort. Nothing fancy but with a good view and a fine breakfast

Spectacular view of the sea and extremely friendly staff and a wonderful cosy place to spend time. Slightly difficult to access without a vehicle as it is an up hill walk but if you enjoy walking it just adds more to the charm of the place. Would recommend highly truly delightful experience of the town and the accommodation. The name of the town is pronounced as cash locally.

Great view, good facilities need a car

Had the penthouse, so there were a lot of stairs, but the staff were so kind and carried our bags up. Being the top floor the ceiling was very low and we all bumped our head at least once. This wasn’t too bad though because of the Amazing view and great facilities, the breakfast was excellent, very fresh and the staff very helpful. We had a car so this was used to get to town due to the steep hill.

I would not recommend this hotel anyone due to their attitude and customer service. I just finished having a shower and than a young kid age 15 roughly and an adult 45 year old man entered my room without knocking.They had all the keys to each room of the hotel room. When I asked them what they were doing they didnt speak any english. When I talked to the owner they said they are auditiors for the cleaners to make sure its done proper. She asked me why did I react the way I did, really like she has the right to ask me why. I said what if it was a Muslim female and they have walked in, her response is we don't have any of those people here. Sorry Turkey is a Muslim country. This is the reason I would not recommend it to anyone. They don't care for the customers and their privacy.

Brilliant staff. Geat apartments.

The apartments exceeded our expectations. The views over the bay (and for us, the proximity to the bus station made up for not being located close to the port and town centre. I think if you had a car the quick access from the main road would also be ideal. The helpfulness and responsiveness of all the staff was second to none.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was a nice selection (though not stuffing, but definitely a good breakfast amount) of cheese, an egg, coffee, bread, sausages, and other little goodies. Front desk was polite and helpful. Very quiet. Located on the top of the hill, so requires a healthy 15-20 minute uphill climb to get their from the downtown area. No restaurants in direct vicinity.

Fabulous views and lovely service

We were delighted with Saylam Suits and Kas as a whole. Perched at the top of the hill, only a five minute steep stroll from the town centre (great cardio after dinner) the apartment was airy and clean with lots of windows to open to feel the sea breeze. The Turkish breakfasts were nice and the breakfast area on the ground floor was a sunny and pleasant way to start the day. The kitchens in the apartment are great if you are cooking in. Speakers for the call to prayer are fairly close to the apartment so get ready for an early morning wake up if you sleep with the windows open but there is air con in the apartment and we found sleeping with the bedroom door closed and air con on, dulled the sound slightly. A fab stay in Kas...wish it had been longer and we had avoided our trip to Marmaris (AVOID).

24 hrs in Kas

stayed for 1 night as we were holidaying in Kalkan but wanted to spend 24 hrs in Kas . Hotel is excellent value and staff are very friendly . Only thing to watch is that it is slightly out of town up a sleep hill so not walkable , especially in the heat . Hotel runs a daytime shuttle which is great ( we used it 4 times in 24 hrs ) . Also the Penthouse has a sloping roof so you will end up banging your head but overall recommended

Amazing Turkish Hospitality!

We stayed at Saylam suites for 1 week and really loved it. The best part of this hotel is definitely the Turkish breakfast, it is a feast every morning. The personnel is super nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and the seaview breath taking. I highly recommend this hotel.
