The location was very nice and the property was clean, but unfortunately the overall experience was disappointing.
We booked a room with a balcony and mountain view, but were given a different room without either. I understand that overbooking can sometimes happen, and I can accept that. However, the main issue was the bed. It was damaged, noisy and squeaky, which made it very difficult to sleep.
On the first day, when we arrived, I spoke by phone with a man from the property. I explained the problem with the bed, but unfortunately he did not seem concerned or offer any solution. He simply asked if there was anything he could do for me.
The following day, I spoke to the owner about the bed and explained how difficult it was to sleep. I was told, “This is not a hotel, it’s a pension.” I found this response very disappointing. Regardless of whether it is a hotel or a pension, guests should be able to expect a comfortable and quiet bed.
Unfortunately, the problem with the bed and the way the complaint was handled overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay.
