Stunning Views Over Tokerau Beach

Fantastic modern holiday home overlooking Tokerau Beach. Over 60m2 of open deck with large bi-fold doors from the living area to allow for great indoor outdoor flow for summer. There are four bedrooms so plenty of room to holiday on the Karikari Peninsula with 5 beaches all within reach. The peninsula boasts some of the best fishing and diving in the country. Carrington Gold Course and winery is a short drive away. The perfect place to enjoy a relaxing break through summer and winter.

The Wind hazards

We arrived in the dark & could not find the property, the letter box was not visible in the dark & the numbering in the street was a bit strange. Asked a friendly neighbour who had lights on. In the wind storm all the pot plants blew off the deck & the cover off the bbq & one of the outdoor chairs ended up next to the car some distance away. The entrance door was on a wind tunnel ‘ almost knocked me down trying to close it on several occasions. Just as an FYI. Be careful. Otherwise it was a neat and tidy little home. Really appreciated the stay thank you

Beautiful views of Tokerau Beach, and the rest of Doubtless Bay

My folks were over from the UK and I wanted to book them Bach's that had great views and this one didn't disappoint. It looks right over Tokerau Beach, and the rest of Doubtless Bay, so it's a great location for exploring the KariKari Peninsula, Whangaroa and even for a day trip to Cape Reinga, Te Paki Sand Dunes and Ninety Mile Beach, in which we did. We did have an issue one morning where the was no electricity and water so I contacted the host, and they said someone would come over to look while we were out, and were soon advised that it was fixed. However when we got back, it was still off - but we could tell that it had been fixed prior as the fridge was pretty cold. It was a Saturday night of a long weekend, and the electrician could only get there the following morning. Rochelle was great and offered us another Bach they had just down the road to use and even stay the night if we wanted. The problem was fixed the next day when the electrician came around which meant we could enjoy the views while having drinks - thanks for your help :) The one thing I would say is that the Bach could do with a bit of a check over of things - the lamps in two of the bedrooms didn't work, the air freshener was empty, there was a hole in one beanbag which then leaked beans - not a big deal, but just a few things we noticed. Thanks again for a great stay! :)
