Perfect stay!

We’ve been traveling in Greece (return trip) for a few weeks. This may have been our nicest stay. First, a lovely room and setting. Second, the professionalism AND warmth of the staff. In particular, one member of our party needed a little help and she was well taken and genuinely taken care of by Doupiani House. Also, excellent breakfast.

Amazing stay. The weather was rainy and foggy but the views were still incredible. The staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I've ever encountered. I will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to others.

This charming property is right off the drive to the monasteries. The hotel has gorgeous grounds, super-friendly staff and a scrumptious breakfast! The bed is huge, soft and comfy. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the view with a balcony - that view is breathtaking!

What a divine place to stay while in ethereal Meteora! Its near the outskirts of Kastraki, but that means the views are stunning. Doupiani House is within walking distance of the monastery of Agios Nikolaos, and it's an easy 10 min walk into the center of the village. The complimentary, local, homecooked breakfast was the best I had in Greece. Luckily, this time of year the garden figs are in season. And the tavernas in town were so enjoyable, too. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean and toiletries were stocked. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and slept well. The energy here was palpable and grounding. If I ever get to return to Greece, I'm spending an entire week here!

Our first trip to Meteora, Doupiani house is a charming accomodation with amazing view of the Meteora. The town itself is quite small so everything is relatively close by. We had our own car so it was easy to get around and it would be if you’re without it too however you’ll have to walk a bit more than other hotels (maybe 10-15mins) which are in the middle of the town.

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay with an amazing fresh buffet breakfast and has to be the closest hotel to the monasteries. We were easily able to see 4 of the 5 monasteries in one day and we simply chose not to see the 5th. Loved the hotel and loved Meteora.

One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The woodwork is gorgeous but the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Good proximity to the monasteries. We were blessed by a full moon rising over the giant rock formations and it will be unforgettable.

Peaceful Retreat

It was a surprisingly great stay in monastery heaven. I felt like we were in a delux comfortable hotel in a Fred Flinstone time era. The ambiance inside and outside was superb. The lanscape was taken care of by the owner who loves plants-a Greek jungle of plants and TLC. The service was impeccable. Always greeted with a smile, how are you, do you need help and enjoy your day. The view from the bedroom was a picture-perfect scene of mountain peaks and serenity. Our motto was "no stress", and we shared this feeling with the friendly female chef-in. Will we come back? Yes! I have found a place to run, think, hike, read, write and rest my weary brain. Thank you for peace for the soul.
