The facility is new. The staff was unprepared. The room was wrong (1 bed vs 2)! So someone had to sleep on sofa bed. The staff just said 'Oh well this is all we have left tonight.' The only thing good about this place is the location to the airport. if that is all you are looking for then this place probably works but you will NOT have any other good feelings from staying in this location and we were not the only group that you could hear complaining in the lobby!

We recently stayed at Aviator Suites in Juneau and, overall, had a decent experience. Since the hotel had literally opened the day before our stay, we expected there might be a few growing pains, and there certainly were. There was still evidence of the grand opening rush throughout the property, including construction equipment outside, painter’s tape on hallway walls, a non-functioning ice machine, and a laundry room that appeared unfinished and disorganized. The lobby carried a strong new-paint smell, and the toilet in our room had a noticeable rust-colored appearance that was a bit off-putting. That said, there were positives. Check-in was smooth enough, and the daytime staff were pleasant, professional, and helpful. Most importantly, our room was clean overall, and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel. With some time to work through the opening-day kinks, this property has potential. For now, I’d consider it a promising new hotel that is still finding its footing.

This property is under construction, undergoing a full renovation, it is not ready to be open yet. It has been open for four days when we arrived and was a gross misrepresentation of services and failure to provide the accommodations advertised and paid for. The property was marketed as a suite hotel with fully equipped kitchens, complimentary breakfast, and a fitness center. The restaurant and complimentary breakfast were unavailable, and the gym was closed. The suite was not equipped for cooking as advertised; it lacked a refrigerator/freezer, cooking utensils, dish soap, the ability to wash dishes, no can opener, no corkscrew, no wine, glasses, and no basic kitchen supplies. Additionally, there was no hand soap provided in the room. For safety, the ground-floor window would not lock, despite the room being located across the street from a homeless shelter. These missing amenities and safety concerns substantially reduced the value of the accommodations and did not match what was advertised when the reservation was booked.
