The room was not ready for guest, half cleaned. The second room the air conditioner was leaking water on the floor. I have no pictures. The survey should be presented at or before check in not after check out then possibly one can add a photo.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at here because it is decently close to the Ruston Ball Park. This time I was disappointed. Room smelled of cat urine and there were dirty spots on the comforter. Air was completely off when we got into the room. Just felt unclean and unkept. People on the third floor were constantly running around at 12:30- 1:30 at night. Nothing was done about it. Smelled of smoke in the hallways. Breakfast area was disgusting the next morning.

I grew up here and was excited for the town when this property was built. However, in a very short time, this property has aged rapidly. I attribute some on the build quality and the rest on care and poor maintenance. It just didn't feel clean. The elevator made some worrisome noises. My bed was comfortable and appeared to have new sheets which was the one positive. I've attached some pics from the room (311). I didn't feel unsafe as it resides next to the Sheriff's department. The survey photo upload feature isn't working for me. I'll try to add them after I submit.

Very Nice but Bit of a Smell

We came to stay the weekend to visit friends. The whole place was very nice and clean, but there was a weird chlorine stench to the whole place despite them not having a pool. It was not as bad in the room, but still very disturbing. I'm just assuming this is from too much bleach use but don't really know. I still highly recommend as it is really nice!

This hotel did not have Wyndham signage on the building instead it had vinyl signs indicating that this was in fact the Wingate hotel. The clerk at check in was rude and unfriendly. She seemed as if we were bothering her by simply checking in. She did not tell us our room number or anything about the facility at all. The smell in the lobby was equivalent to the smell of a chlorine supply house. The smell was so strong and overbearing that it gave us headaches. The elevator was provided a dirty, noisy, very slow and scary ride to our floor. The buttons were caked in some substance that I opted to use a tissue to press the button to get us to our floor. Our room door only opened about 45° because it was not properly hung on the hinges so we had to shimmy in and out of our room with our bags. The shower curtain was disgustingly pink with mold and the shower head provided a trickle of water for our showers which we were provided only 2 towels that smelled as if they were not dried fully and smelled spoiled. The comforters were brown from filth or someone else’s body oils so we threw them onto the floor and only had a sheet to sleep with. The pillows were old and floppy and smelled awful as well. This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. I am so very disappointed. Absolutely Terrible.
