I was not at all sure what to expect for the inexpensive rate, but in China, this buys you everything you need. Not only was the room more like a suite, with a couch and coffee table and desk, but the internet was free, breakfast buffet every morning was included in the room rate, and the hotel is right around the corner from a "mall" which includes Wal-Mart, Starbucks, McDonalds and KFC for those that crave the occasional western meal. It's not quite in the downtown busy area, so print out the directions, a map, the name of the hotel in Chinese character so your cab driver can find it. It was about $45 RMB ride from the train stations, which was about $5 american. I will be going back to Jiaxing again within the year, and will definitely stay at this hotel.
