Large comfy living room with reclining sofa, large TV & WIFI. Great fully equipped kitchen with comfortable dining area. Extra sitting area that also has a full size bed for extra company. Master bedroom has a queen size bed, large bathroom, washer & dryer. Great outside patio area for entertaining. Bring your bathing suits and come enjoy paradise.

Nettles Island is an ocean to river 5 star resort community located on beautiful Hutchinson Island across the street from the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by the Indian River. When you come to visit you will be able to enjoy two junior Olympic size swimming pools, one of them being located at our private ocean access. Laid back

Typical beachy bungalow fully equipped for our needs. Although the place could use some modernizing, it was very clean and comfortable. Coffee on the canal deck in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon were very relaxing. Nettles Island has it all!!!!, mini mart, pool, lots of outdoor activities and boating. Can't wait to return

Nice time at Nettles Island

Fantastic location, wonderful amenities. We had 2 adults, a 7yr old and a 16 yr old. Shower is small and hot water goes quickly but the location was great. My only complaint was the 1 pool was closed the entire time we were there and the other pool closed early due to turtle season. I would have liked to know that in advance. Lots to do, people are friendly. Everything closes around 8/9 in the area but its peaceful and tranquil.

Great place to stay

Clean, good location, well stocked - interior is dated but beds were comfy. I’d recommend a larger hot water tank - ran out of heat before done showering. Also extra rolls of TP are needed.

Smaller than expected

The pictures don't necessarily portray a correct reflection of this place. The master bedroom is very small. We had our whole family of six stay here which thankfully both couches made out into beds. I think the pictures make the rooms seem bigger than they are. The water heater is extremely small so you'll only get hot water for maybe 2 minutes before the shower turns cold. There was no extra toilet paper and very few places to put our stuff so we basically left it out in the kitchen. The kitchen table is not child friendly. It's glass with four large cushion chairs that are not easy to wipe. I recommend staying here if it's just 2 people. The back deck was nice.
