Welcome to Villa Paso Lento! Located in the enchanting Montgo National Park, yet only a few minutes' drive from the charming streets of the old town of Javea and a 10-minute drive from the beaches. There are four excellent restaurants within walking distance! Our villa is carefully positioned to face south, with the Montgo mountain to the north creating a microclimate, making it a wonderful place to enjoy the sun all year round! "Paso Lento" is located on a double plot of 2500m2, dotted with Mediterranean trees and designed in such a way that there are countless attractive corners where you can relax in the sun or enjoy the coolness in the shade, with the imposing Montgo mountain as a breathtaking backdrop .
Plenty of on-site parking for 4-5 cars. Both the villa and the outdoor areas have recently been completely renovated! Start your morning with a cup of coffee in our chill-out area next to the kitchen, or enjoy your breakfast in the well-equipped outdoor kitchen - with water, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator and BBQ at your disposal. The summer kitchen leads to three spacious terraces - one with a 3-metre long table and chairs and the lovely shade of the pergola, the second with extremely comfortable sofas and beautiful natural fiber parasols, and the third with sunbeds ideal for sunbathing . There are more than enough seating and lounge areas, even for a group of 10 people. Sunbeds are also available on the other side of the pool, along with an Ibizan style sofa where you can relax and admire the beauty of the Montgo mountain.
The house is, as it were, merged with the landscape, allowing the landscape to tell you its stories. Are you longing for some more time for yourself? On the other side of the house you will find a beautiful lawn, surrounded by mature trees that provide cooling shade while you enjoy a gentle warm breeze or relax during your daily yoga exercises (yoga mats are also available). Feel free to pick some fruit from our mini orchard to refresh yourself. And how about lazing in the hammock under the shade of the 20-meter-high ficus trees? For those who love games, there is a ping-pong table, bocce and large Jenga.
The villa is spread over 2 levels, with a few steps along the pool to reach the main level and entrance hall. It is a three aspect property, with an open plan living/dining/kitchen design from which you can enjoy beautiful views from all window frames. This spacious space leads to a naya, filled with natural light and very comfortable lounge furniture, where you can enjoy the sun and views over the garden and pool all year round. The high quality bespoke kitchen includes a breakfast bar with stunning views of the palm trees and surrounding mountains. On this level there are 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite). The master bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the pool. All bedrooms are equipped with box spring beds of 180x200cm, 3 of which can be separated if desired, while we have ensured that when joined together, you sleep in one large bed (without gaps between the mattresses). On the lower level (which can also be accessed from the outside), there are two further bedrooms, a kitchenette with a coffee machine and minibar (so you don't have to go upstairs if you need coffee or a refreshment), and a spacious bathroom.
Around the villa you can also go walking, cycling or climb the Montgo - we can provide you with all the necessary information. The picturesque port of Javea and the beaches of Javea, both sandy and pebbly, are available a short drive away, so you can easily reach them several times a day, if you wish.
