This rental is in a fantastic location! You can’t beat the proximity to Jan Thiel beach and other nearby conveniences. The property itself was clean and quiet, which my family and I greatly appreciated. The apartment is fine for a vacation rental but could use a few updates. For example, the paint peeled off of the ceiling in a few rooms. Was that absolutely consequential for our stay - No. But it did take away from the beauty of the apt.Note, this is a two story unit. The bedroom with the double twin beds is on the second floor and accessible by a very narrow staircase. Upon booking the listing, we planned on having our 4 year old stay in that room but upon arrival had to quickly change plans as there was no way she’d be able to successfully and consistently go up and down those stairs on her own. That detail made a difference for us. For others, that might not matter. To be clear, this point isn’t at all a criticism- I only mention it as an FYI.Our host was attentive, responsive, and respectful. His unit has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. He provided beach chairs/towels, a cooler, a guide for restaurants and beaches around the island, and a dedicated free parking space. The kitchen was well-stocked with the basics and the apartment itself had all of the necessary items you’ll need for your stay- trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels.Again, great location and all the comforts of home. Would definitely recommend to others and consider rebooking myself.
