Admire the scenery from the elevated open plan living area and open the massive sliding doors to the north balcony. Set amongst leafy gardens with towering gums and bamboo groves, multilevel decks link the outdoor dining area and BBQ, with a fire pit to toast marshmallows (BYO firewood) and a heated magnesium plunge pool for the ultimate lifestyle experience. Or keep the plunge pool cool in summer for a refreshing and enjoyable way to beat the heat. (Responsible pool usage instructions supplied on arrival. Pool can be heated to 37', but it doesn't have jets. Therefore, it's not a 'spa'. It is 1.8m deep, 2.5m approx wide, with seating along one edge).
Under high ceilings, the main living area brings everyone together for movie nights (Smart TV - log in with your own Netflix/streaming account details to resume your own viewing history). Indoor plants and a wood-burning fireplace make for beautiful focal points, while in-ceiling heating provides cosy comfort to the living room. The kitchen has an island bench with brekky bar for casual meals or dine at the extendable dining table. Well equipped with an oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and coffee pod machine, you will find this is a home away from home.
Configured to sleep 5 guests, the layout gives everyone space for lively gatherings or chilling out. An ideal work-from-home study space features along the length of the connecting corridor. All 3 bedrooms have abundant natural light and space, panel wall heaters, portable fans, and are beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels. Please BYO beach/pool towels.
The master bedroom with King-size bed is located at the rear of the home, complete with a bamboo-backdrop ensuite that adds luxe tropical ‘jungalow’ vibes to shower time. A private rear deck is the perfect place for parents to retreat with a cuppa, sitting under the shade of a trio of gum trees. Kids and teens will love their bedrooms, with a Single bed, Single bunk bed and library of books and games. The central bathroom is breathtaking and echoes the aesthetic of the ensuite. Imagine bathing beneath a vertical window that invites lush bamboo greenery inside and extends the connection to nature... a sublime experience.

All this in a popular established area of Jan Juc, just a short stroll to parkland and playgrounds, Jan Juc Village cafes and the Surf Coast Walk for daily walks to Bells Beach.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the whole property, including the carport for 2 cars maximum per stay. No garage available.
The Neighborhood:
Beaches - Our beautiful local beaches start with Jan Juc surf beach (family friendly swimming, patrolled in summer months) approx 10min stroll away. Family-favourites, Fisherman’s Beach and Cosy Corner, are just a few km’s away in Torquay, and Bells Beach is 5min drive to the west.
Spring Creek caters to family fishing, SUPing, kayaking.
There are plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries and breweries around the region.
The Torquay Farmers Market is on every Saturday morning outside the Surf Coast Shire Council office on Merrijig Drive.
Adventure Park is also a great day out with the kids – approx. 40mins drive away.
Getting Around:
Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to parks and 300m to the clifftop walking trail. Only 15mins stroll to Jan Juc beach. On and off-street parking available.
Buses to and from Jan Juc and Geelong (Number 50 or 51). There is a bus stop near this property.
Closest train station 15km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Torquay is 1 hour 20 mins by car from Melbourne.
