I am a bit leery of small places like this, but this one far exceeded my expectations. This is not a five-star resort. This is a small roadside Lodge that is locally owned for a night of restful sleep. It was clean and felt safe. The host was wonderful. The only thing you should know if there are no restaurants close by. If you want to eat, do it in town before you arrive. This would be a perfect place to stay if you are wanting to go into Big South Fork for night sky programs

This was a great stay convenient to lots of hiking trails and sight seeing. The lodge was everything I expected and more. Quiet area and it really felt like I transported back in time but still had upgraded amenities and technology.

Very nice place and great staff!

The room is clean and very nice. The staff has been wonderful. We were in town for a wedding so a lot of time to kill and they were more then accommodating with our times. Highly recommend.

Big South Fork Lodge is a real gem! The Host (Becky) was extremely pleasant and welcoming! We had a room with two (2) queen beds. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom sported soft, large & fluffy towels. The water pressure in the shower was terrific! The bed was very comfortable (best night’s sleep)! On a side note-the Expedia write up indicates there is a restaurant on site - this is INCORRECT. There is a local eatery within a 15 minute drive (Beaty’s), nothing fancy, but very tasty food!

It was right next to the main event, Big South Fork and close to Pickett CCC State Park. We werent there with hirses but chikd met a couple who entertained her for a vit. Very friendly people there

The Lodge is very good. Becky (host) is outstanding. Good location within Big South Fork. Recommend to stay. You won't be disappointed. Continuous improvements opportunities noted below DID NOT impact our stay From continuous improvement perspective, the one observation is that the trash can outside the cabin needed to be emptied. Also, make sure to let Becky know if you need shampoo/conditioner ahead of time. For hygienic reasons, those items are given upon request.
