I had a wonderful time at the Laguna resort!! I couldn’t have been more pleased. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The pictures don’t do it justice.

This property is average at best. There was not one electrical outlet in bathroom, lighting very poor throughout room, no outlet to plug in nightstand light. My room was at outside entrance corridor. There was no lighting outside room and very loud. I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel is all about location. It is right on the beach with a lovely pool, bar and tables outside. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but some have a bathroom smaller than a closet. Be aware that there are 3 floors and no elevators. Even if you request a ground floor room, they may or may not give it to you. The hotel restaurant is on the 2nd floor and only serves breakfast on the 2nd floor. No big deal unless you are disabled and can't climb stairs. They did FINALLY make an exception for my mom and serve her downstairs. The service from the restaurant, breakfast, lunch AND dinner is the slowest and worst I have ever experienced. They are horribly under staffed. It took forever just to get menus, and then the waiter never once came back to check on us - same experience 2 breakfasts, one lunch and 2 dinners. The food is ok (at best) at dinner, good at breakfast. Definitely would not recommend.

Staff was very friendly rooms were cleaned daily the pool was nice and clean the views were amazing I would definitely return back to this hotel again

Great hotel, staff and overall experience

This was an amazing hotel located right on the beach. Clean, very private yet interactive with locals. The restaurant food was great and the staff couldn't be more friendly. I loved that they offered surf lessons and bikes available to ride into the main town. I would come back to stay there in a heartbeat!

on the beach, average, rooms fair

Pros: That it was on the beach.
Cons: tv didn't really have access.
Location: Jaco is a cute, cheap town with good food. To go anywhere else is an expensive cab ride.
We sat at the pool in the evenings drinking rum, beautiful. I went surfing for the first time in years.
