Fabulous Beachfront House on Island Beach, Kangaroo Island, South Australia

It is no surprise that Alchemy is the most popular beach house on Island Beach, Kangaroo Island. When our guests walk in they have one word - STUNNING.

The water views are breathtaking, uninterrupted and endless. The swimming is divine. The large windows with cafe sliding doors and deck make for great marine wildlife watching, with your morning coffee. Pass the day relaxing with your book, sunning on the beach, walking the fabulous powder sand beach towards Rocky or Strawbridge Point, and feast on the fresh and simply amazing local food!

At the bottom of our deck the interesting winding sandy path leads you to the opening...there you are standing on one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. We have no road in front of our beach house, so exceptionally safe for the children to head to the beach.

Once our guests arrive at Alchemy, they find it difficult to leave the house to go and sight see this magnificient island..it is truly that beautiful.

When your head is finally wrapped around doing some day tours, and you can pull yourself away from Alchemy on Island Beach, we are centrally located to explore the entire 155km long Kangaroo Island...perfectly positioned to visit all attractions throughout the Island.

Our resident kangaroo roos, wallabies and goannas can be found around the property for an up close wildlife experience.

The beach house itself is filled with beautiful artworks by local South Australian artists, and perfectly designed for immediate relaxation. Fully equipped with everything you need to have the holiday you are looking for. We love sharing our house with people like you who appreciate quality, style and location.

Great locations. Sadly no wildlife encounters.Comfy beds, well equipped home.My only suggestion would be move the couch so you can enjoy the view rather than have your back to it.Great if you want to escape the hussle and bustle. Would love to stay in the summer.
