The hotel is quite outdated, with a cramped and old-fashioned elevated bathroom. The onsen is also very small—actually the smallest public bath I’ve ever experienced.

Dated hotel but can tell that they have refurbished the rooms. Private baths can be booked freely! Staffers spoke minimal English but it was passable. Street is otherwise pretty quiet and a quaint neighbourhood. Food in restaurant at top level boasts a great view.

I wouldn’t recommend ordering either the western or Japanese breakfasts. I think they are both overpriced for the amount of food you get. The Japanese breakfast was slightly better than the western breakfast but still a small portion.

Idyllic location but that's pretty much it. This hotel needs some love; a fresh coat of paint, new furniture (old smoke stench in the rooms) and new/fixed water pipes (some bloke decided to take a bath at 6am, woke the whole hotel up) would go a long way. It's a pity cause the staff were nice and helpful and private onsen a treat. shoganai ne!

You will find your standard Japanese business type hotel, ie small in comparison to American hotels, at a fair price (just as long it is not a busy season). The Location is great if you are visiting the Wedded Rocks. There is a shuttle to the hotel, and private, reservable onsen baths if you are interested. The view was OK, I got a side room with a view of the city and beach, but no complete bay view. The facilities are slightly dated but clean, the service, normal Japanese style. Unfortunately, my bath was slightly scummy and long hair not my own left by the previous visitor(?). Do not visit if you are physically challenged in any way, the bathroom had a step of over 12” at the door. Also, if you are concerned about corona, the single elevator was never at the floor I needed and served as a people congregator whenever used. Survey form in the room looked rather ratty and well used as well. It would have been nice to have a hotel floor and services guide in the room also.
