Loved this place! great staff, clean room, dog friendly. Location to State, and National Parks. It was so QUIET! during our stay, and views of the Bay made it feel like Island time. We were told The restaurant was in the final stages of renovation, and will open soon. Will return, just to to try that. Thanks!

The resort customer service and grounds were great. I would categorize our room as rustic, clean and quaint. Sound carried thru walls and floors from neighboring rooms. They weren’t being obnoxious; it was just sound transmission. Overall, very nice little place. Would come again

Location, location, location! There are only 4 hotels near Point Reyes National Seashore. Tomales Bay Resort is one of the closest. In fact, you have to drive past the hotel to get something to eat at the markets and restaurants in Inverness and Point Reyes Station after a day of exploring. You know you are there when you see a boat near the road. The room is a little outdated but it is cozy. On check in day the hotel has the gas stove in the room already turned on. The shower has a place to sit and the water gets really hot. (Thank God!) There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine. There was a sign that the oven/stove don't work. Not sure if that is permanent. There is a front and back porch which I did not need. The hotel is on the water. There is a small marina with boats onsite. There are 6 rooms that allow dogs. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Travel tip! If you drive south 10 minutes on Sir Francis Drake in the opposite direction of PRNS you will get to Inverness Market. They sell the most delicious breakfast sandwiches in the world!!! They come wrapped. You can sit at an outdoor table or take it to go.You can also buy pasta, salads, sandwiches, and hamburgers to go.
