Wonderful Stay
Our family has just returned from an unforgettable stay at The House on the Hill, and it exceeded every expectation. This is one of those rare holiday homes that looks wonderful in the photos more impressive in person.
Every bedroom is generously sized. The kitchen is fully equipped and had absolutely everything we needed. The outdoor space is equally spectacular. The heated swimming pool was the perfect size for both adults and children and quickly became everyone's favourite place to spend the day.
The garden wraps all the way around the property and is wonderfully quiet, making it feel like a true countryside retreat.The location is perfect too. It's just an 8-minute stroll to the charming High Street with characterful independent shops, and restaurants. We strongly recommend visiting the Waterfront restaurant and bar, only around 10 minutes away for fantastic food and beautiful sea views. Folkestone station is also conveniently close, making the property easy to reach while still feeling wonderfully secluded.
The service from the Keepers Cottages team was exceptional. They were available seven days a week, always friendly, responsive and genuinely helpful whenever we had a question. We were also greeted with a welcome hamper on arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
Everything about this property has been thoughtfully designed to create a relaxing, luxurious and memorable holiday experience. We genuinely cannot recommend The House on the Hill highly enough. A truly five-star experience in every sense. We all absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to go again next year.
