We welcome up to 4 Guests at our lovely one level living cedar cabin. The Cute and Cozy Cabin offers a charming dining room area adjoined by a living room which leads out to an over sized deck. There is a charming electric fireplace in the living room with a 50" smart T.V. placed over it. We have an oversized coffee table which is a chest filled with games and books. The cabin features 2 Bedrooms and 1 full Bathroom with shower. We recently renovated the bath and the kitchen with all new appliances, cabinets and tile.
A six foot picture window in the master bedroom provides magical views of the water and mountains. Imagine breakfast in bed enjoying the awesome beauty. We also hired an artist to draw a rendition of the view from the cabin and create two magnificent stained glass window; one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Just beautiful! You will love the amazing bathroom which is a walk-in shower with seat. See the pictures, everyone has commented on our new bathroom and some have even said they were going to copy it.
The deck has a yesteryear glider and beautiful wicker table and chairs. Renovated kitchen with tiled back splash adding even more to the charm of the cabin. Comfy leather sofa and chair, both recline and the chair also rocks, which offers a perfect view of Smith Mountain. You will love the comfort of the furniture throughout the house and on the deck.
Our cabin has central air and heat. We offer Direct TV Satellite and Netflix. We also offer free fast internet access. There is a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, pots & pans, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and oven/stove. Also enjoy cooking outside with a charcoal outdoor grill. We provide a multitude of seasonings for your use.
The views are amazing from the cabin! Everywhere you look, you see beautiful Smith Mountain, undeveloped woods and the lake. My husband planted a lush lakeside gardens years ago, which is simply beautiful with its array of colors and textures. You will see boaters come by and take pictures of our garden, it is truly beautiful.The walkway leading to the lake offers an opportunity to view the l all season garden with well over 150 plantings. You will also enjoy the gardens sitting on your deck and the abundance of color it offers!
Just landscaped entrance welcomes you with an array of flowering flowering plants throughout the seasons. We also installed a charming twirling paver walking path in front of the cabin for your easy access to the house, road and deck.
We offer easy access to the lake either by driving or walking the road which leads to the waterfront or you can take the walkway directly to the lake. We are one of the few places on the lake that you can actually drive to your dock. No better access is available!
Because the cove is “no wake” you can swim, kayak or canoe without being disturbed by jet skies and motor boats, a rarity on the lake. We are only 500’ to the entrance to the main channel so you don’t have go far before you can produce a wake. The cove is surrounded by a 2000 acre wildlife mountainous nature preserve so your views are of deep woods, silhouetted by Smith Mountain and its surrounding mountains. Smith Mountain Lake has 22,000 acres of clean water and has 500 miles of shoreline.
There is a mile long drive to reach our cabin that is just magical. It is deeply wooded with an abundance of hardwoods on both sides. Once you have made this turn on our lane, you will be delighted with the serine, natural beauty that surrounds our home.
Our no wake 60 acres cove is famous for its abundance and variety of fish. It is where the strippers spawn every year and fisherman catch bass, muskies and cat fish right off our docks. You will see an exciting array of wildlife including eagles, owls, ospreys, hummingbirds, wild turkey and of course deer.
Ideally located in southwest Virginia's mountain foothills, the beauties of landscape, mountains and lake provide perfect tranquility for your vacation holiday. Each season offers delights for the senses. Spring brings beautiful mountain laurels, azaleas, and dogwoods. Summers are lush with the aroma of heavy woods and an array of flower blossoms. Crape myrtles surround our property in late summer bursting our gardens with a variety of color. Autumn paints the landscape in burning brush strokes of red, gold, and orange. Each season is unique. Each a part of the beauty that surrounds our Cabin.
Quiet, serene, beautiful -- a fresh adventure in the leisure life awaits you. Pick your pleasure. Maybe it's a romantic winter weekend. Or a family designed dip into summer water sports. An autumn escape to see Smith Mountain on fire with ever changing colors. Or spring's first battle with the bass and muskies. No matter, you will find them all!
Lots of great restaurants are also within ten minutes as is the state park which offers hiking trails, day activities for children, sandy beach, boating, picnic areas and night entertainment in the summer.

We are located within a day's drive of major southern and northern cities, and are accessible by Smith Mountain Lake Airport's 3,000-foot paved landing strip.

We love our cabin and have spend thousands of dollars on maintaining it and our lakeside gardens. Most of our rentals are repeat and everyone who has spent time at the lake has repeatedly said we have" the best view on the lake". It will truly be one of your more memorable vacations and you will be back, everyone returns to this magical cabin at Smith Mountain Lake.
Please bring with you, fishing gear and fishing license, toiletry items- shampoo etc., sunscreen, golf clubs, water floating rafts and life jackets.
