By the time we went for breakfast a coach party had depleted the yoghurts and bread and probably other foods also on the cold table We managed but I noticed that they were not replaced by 9am and breakfast is served until 09.30am so some later arrivals had very little choice

Great stay in hotel. Room clean and comfortable. No complaints. Reception staff great, especially Chantelle. A big thank you for room change as my friend struggles with mobility and quickly changed room allocation no problem. Made a big difference. Thanks again 5 * service.

A lovely couples of nights.

Our stay was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The standard room was clean and the bed very comfortable with two lovely fluffy pillows each. The only drawn back was that there was no air conditioning in the room which was not a problem for us in May but may be an issue during summer. We ate twice in the restaurant and the food was really good especially the Haddock and chips and the Bakewell tart and ice cream. We would have absolutely no issue with staying at this hotel again.

I would love to give the hotel a 5 star review as pretty much everything was excellent. The service, staff, cleanliness, room, food and drink were excellent. The staff went above and beyond catering for us with early check ins and extra rooms to get ready in so we could be on time for the wedding. The hotel and rooms were spacious, well equipped and spotless. Breakfast was delicious and again staff friendly, welcoming and heplful. Unfortunately the only thing that looses marks and made it a difficult and uncomfortable stay was the heat in the room. It was insanely warm. The heat wasnt coming from a radiator, both windows were open and we had the fan on but the temperature inside the room was unbearable. Apparently it comes from the pipes underneath the rooms so nothing can be done about it but as a family of 4 we got very little sleep. If was impossible to get comfy and relax. It was sweltering and for this and this reason only i wouldnt return. You just cant sleep. I will say my sisters family had a room on the ground floor and didnt have this problem so if you can request ground floor rooms and not 2nd floor and certainly not 3rd floor!
