Horrible pool

Pool chemicals were to the level of toxic. We went in for a few minutes and my eyes were burning from just sitting in the hot tub. My kids swam in the pool a few minutes but we left quickly after they couldn’t quit coughing due to the amount of chemicals in the pool.

Very well kept. Very nice soaking bathtub. We stayed on the Bay Side and had a really cool view. Parking was free and super easy. Breakfast was great--best breakfast potatoes at a continental breakfast I have ever had. Very convenient to getting out to outdoor adventures like hiking and rockhounding. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Lots to do in Houghton

Napoleon at the front desk was on top of our reservation and gave us a tip about the fantastic restaurant on the 7th floor of the hotel as a possible dinner spot. Food and service only exceeded by view of water. Rooms were spotless. Ours overlooked 41 so we watched a parade from our room. Neat town.
