It is an older townhome with mixed decor/furniture & quite cozy, so there is some normal wear & tear on the carpeting, upstairs blinds, etc. The inside of this unit was very neat, clean, & spacious. The deck & deck furniture could use a good cleaning. I swept the front porch, walkway and steps in the front of the unit (lots of acorns) to prevent tripping. All the appliances, electronics, & internet functioned properly. Unfortunately, the heating in this unit was not working (it was 55° inside when I arrived after leaving my family's home). I increased the temperature to 72° hoping it would warm up. It never did. I ended up purchasing new batteries for the thermostat the next morning, & that only worked for a few hours. I did let management know, & I ended up borrowing a space heater from family & slept on the comfy couch downstairs under a very warm comforter for my stay. While I enjoyed my stay, I was disappointed nothing was done about the broken heating unit - it ran nonstop and seemed like it was trying to work after I replaced the thermostat batteries (this was during Thanksgiving, so I understand no one being available). I did not get my full money's worth and feel like some monetary adjustments should be made to my bill. I also feel like the mgmt should have checked the unit to assure the heat was working (and turned on prior to my arrival-it was so cold inside). Rate: 3.75/5
