So Convenient but Felt Secluded

My immediate family came together here, from 3 different locations across the West, to spend time with extended family residing in and around Hot Springs. The house on Buena Vista was the perfect staging spot for activities from Angostura Reservoir to Mount Rushmore.

Landscape photo does not do justice to the spectacular setting!

Very beautiful - almost too ‘fancy’ but super comfortable. We loved the extra ‘snuggle blankets’ and electric fireplace on a cool evening and mornings! There seemed to be ample kitchen tools for our food-loving and cooking crew … although we didn’t have basic ‘staples’ (salt & pepper, etc.) and will pack more completely next time! A visiting neighbor ‘dog’ - and a couple of friendly cats - came to visit us on the porch and side patio! We really enjoyed observing deer and turkey sharing the beautiful landscape!
