Der Wimmerhof, der erstmals 1420 urkundlich erwĂ€hnt wurde, wird als GrĂŒnlandbetrieb mit Milchwirtschaft betrieben. Derzeit werden zirka 15 MilchkĂŒhe mit Nachzucht, der Rasse Deutsches Fleckvieh gehalten. Bei der tĂ€glichen Stallarbeit können unsere GĂ€ste gerne mitdabei sein oder sogar mithelfen. Dabei beantworten wir Ihnen gerne alle Fragen zu unserer Arbeit, unseren Produkten oder rund um die Landwirtschaft. Im groĂen Tiergehege tummeln sich Zwergziegen, GĂ€nse, Enten, Hasen und die kleinste Schafrasse der Welt, die Quessant-Schafe. Daneben grasen genĂŒsslich unsere beiden Ponys, Peggy und Sindy. Die groĂe Leidenschaft der BĂ€uerin und Hausherrin Maria sind die Blumen und KrĂ€uter, die man um den ganzen Hof und in der nĂ€heren Umgebung findet. Sie hat sich deshalb vor ein paar Jahren zur KrĂ€uterpĂ€dagogin ausbilden lassen und gibt ihr Wissen nun sehr gerne an interessierte GĂ€ste durch KrĂ€uterfĂŒhrungen und herzhafte, geschmackvolle Gerichte weiter.
