Although the exterior is a bit rough the interior is well kept, very clean, quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was yummy! I’d stay here again!

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful with all of our requests. There was a mall across the street, a gas station and a couple of restaurants very close by. We had everything we needed.

All staff we encountered during our two night stay were all very friendly and able to answer any questions we had. Breakfast was good, we appreciated that it wasn’t only bagels and waffles but also eggs and some type of meat. Our room was clean. The only downside was our bathroom had a smell to it upon arrival but nothing that affected our stay.

I checked in past midnight, and the hotel was able to accommodate my late arrival without any issues. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, they even helped me find a wonderful Italian restaurant for dinner on my second night. The rooms were cozy, and comfortable, the bathrooms were also very clean. Breakfast was also good. Overall, the staff really made the stay feel welcoming, and I would definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, which made the stay feel easy and relaxing. The staff was also very helpful and friendly throughout my visit, and they made sure everything went smoothly. The breakfast was honestly better than most hotels I’ve stayed at. There was a good selection, everything was fresh, and it felt like they actually put effort into it instead of just doing the bare minimum. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with great service.

This is an excellent hotel at a very reasonable prize, very friendly and helpful staffs there. I don’t know if the owner is the author Mark Twain’s descendant, there are photos of him on the wall along the hallway. Good breakfast and snacks are available. The only thing is, there’s no USB charger port in the room. You have to bring your charger yourself.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel and room were clean. The bed had a dial that could make the mattress a little softer, which was very nice. We had a room with a jacuzzi tub which was clean and in good working order. The staff was friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed having a continental breakfast. My only recommendation would be for the hotel to hire a breakfast attendant. The front desk clerk had to float back and forth during breakfast time to help keep the breakfast moving (change trays, refill milk, extras, empty trash, etc.). Would definitely return.

The checkin staff, especially Nick and Gary were excellent! They made me feel welcomed and were there to accommodate my needs. I was unable to get the TV working and Gary came to the room and walked me through the process. He went beyond what I expected. The room was roomy and clean. Breakfast was hot and efficient with waffles, eggs, and sausage. I would definitely stay at the Grand again.

Room and staff were AMAZING. The room was lovely and spotless, the staff were always super friendly and helpful. Cannot say enough good things about the staff. I get the impression that they are currently transitioning management so things like the pool and hotel restaurant were not open. The breakfast was okay. Basic continental muffins, waffle maker, yogurt, and some sausages, hash browns, and eggs. Not much to write home about. Husband who has food allergies struggled to eat much of what they provided but he did say the coffee was good. All in all, I'd happily stay here again.

The breakfast was fair at best. The hashbrowns were falling apart, and the sausage was barely cooked. Although I was in person, with a traveling companion in a separate room / reservation, the staff chose to talk to someone who was on the phone (and had not spent the time to come on site) for 15 minutes at ~11:45PM at night. I really wish staff had first attended to the people that were present, especially at that hour.

Well we couldn’t check in for over 45 minutes because the front desk guy was in the office and not out front. If I had not eventually went and knocked on the office door we’d probably still be waiting. So that set the tone for our short stay.

During my stay they never cleaned or serviced my room. Trash can was overflowing, bathroom never cleaned, bed never freshened. The do not disturb sign was never used so that is not the reason. Simply poor service. Want ice, you have to go to the front desk and ask for it. For the price this was totally unacceptable. Cannot recommend this hotel

The breakfast was amazing. The staff were helpful and attentive. The pool was closed so that was a big disappointment. The outdoor upkeep was lacking but that’s not a big deal to me. The pillows and bed were very nice but the towels are very scratchy. We will stay here again when we come back to Watkin Glen.
