The Air Condition worked very well. The home was spotless and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possible need. The host was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend staying at this beach front house .

Wow!!! We knew we were in for a treat when we booked this place but it exceeded every expectation. It could not have been more perfect for what we were looking for. Pretty much has its own private beach on the very secluded north end of town and only a couple minute walk to the public/ ferry dock. The sun sets right in the back yard and is phenomenal. They had plenty of ocean toys i.e paddle boards, kayaks, floats, etc that were great to use right in the back yard. As for the house itself, it was perfectly clean when we arrived and the layout is great and spacious. The beds are comfy and the ac cold when you want it. We will definitely be back! Its hosts like this that really make a vacation great!

Home was extremely clean and very well thought out. Views were outstanding, and walking straight out into the water was amazing and unlike most other Elbow Cay rentals! Air conditioning was perfect and cold after a long, hot day! Owner, Kevin, is very quick to respond to any questions that arise and handles any issues very quickly. It was obvious that the owners take great pride in their property inside and out, as everything was meticulously kept. It was a perfect stay! Diane

The host was incredibly responsive and made the entire booking and check-in process easy and stress-free . They also provided a great written guide for the home, along with helpful information about the amenities and attractions on the island. Overall, a smooth and wee-organized experience-I would definitely stay there again. The location of the home is top-notch.

We had 3 generations staying in the house and it was perfect for everyone. We docked the boat at the North end dock and it was just a short walk to the house. I would recommend renting a golf cart to go into town for shopping and dinner. The kitchen was well-equipped and we cooked a number of meals at the house. The host provided a lot of detailed information about the house and the area.

We had a great stay! The view was beautiful and the instructions sent to us before arrival were clear and helpful. We rented a golf cart from Wilma that works out good. It is about a 7 minute golf cart ride into town. The house has everything that you need in the kitchen. We would stay here again!

The house was perfect!! So open but cozy at the same time. The kitchen/living space was exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and had everything you needed. The beach views were stunning. You can’t beat sitting on the beach taking in the beautiful Bahama blue water or watching the sun set. It was super easy to get to by boat. We docked and it was a very short walk with our bags to the house. Beds were super comfy and bathrooms were clean. Just a heads up you are on the far North side of the island so you definitely need to rent a golf cart or have a boat to get around. The owners were super nice and responsive. They gave amazing recommendations and had answers to any questions you might have about the house and the island. We definitely would recommend and will look for this house if it’s available in the future!!

Wonderful Week in Paradise

My husband and I recently visited Hopetown and stayed the Beach House. The home is absolutely wonderful, the beach is amazing and the views are breathtaking. We were so impressed with the home and the host Kevin. He is so welcoming and incredibly responsive. The kitchen is fully stocked with pans, utensils, etc. and plenty of towels and beach towels as well. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. Kevin also provides a very detailed list of things to do, contacts on the island and details about the home once you book and the information is definitely helpful. We booked a half day boat trip with Captain Francis’ charter and it was so much fun. The local restaurants are great as well. It was our first time visiting Hopetown and won’t be our last! Thank you Kevin for opening your home to us, it is absolutely amazing!

Beachfront Paradise

What an awesome place to stay on vacation with good friends! This VRBO is a convenient location to Hopetown as well as the other islands. We love the Abacos and the views from the spacious porch of the aquamarine water was a daily treat. We sat out there in the mornings with our coffee and in the evenings with whatever rum drink was offered. Oftentimes we would walk along the beach or just sit in the warm Bahamian water and visit some more. The owner/manager (Kevin) of this beautiful property was very friendly and welcoming and answered all of our questions promptly. We WILL be back for sure!!! Carol and Ken

Absolute Paradise

This house was absolutely perfect for our group of five adults and one 10-year-old. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the views—especially the stunning sight of the lighthouse and the steady stream of sportfishing boats heading out in the early morning and returning in the afternoon, all visible right from the porch. Every sunset was a picture-perfect show, with the house facing west and offering front-row seats.The home itself was incredibly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We loved having the beach just steps away and our boat docked nearby, making it easy to head out on the water whenever we wanted. The view from the kitchen window alone was enough to make cooking a joy.It's a short and scenic walk or golf cart ride into town, giving us quick access to shops and restaurants while still enjoying the peace and quiet of this perfect location. The house strikes an ideal balance between convenience and tranquility—we couldn't have asked for more!

Great Location

Our stay at the Beach House was awesome. Great location on the north end of the island. We had a golf cart and the house provided the gate key required to allow golf carts through the settlement.The house is very private and we really enjoyed hanging out on the covered porch and the beach in front of the house. We also rented a boat and the community dock a short walk away was really great.We plan to return in the future.

Peaceful Bahamian Paradise

The house is located in a perfect spot! Staying on the North End is great, as no one South of hopetown has access to this area (need gate key to get thru town & this rental comes with 1) the gate key allowed us to travel anywhere on the island via golf cart (renting one is a must).The house is modernized, clean, comfortable great kitchen & many appliances. The covered porch is perfect to get out of the sun, but still feel like you were at the beach. The big yard has plenty of room for kids to play and a virtually private beach that stretches all the way to the point. The beach access next-door to the house is just for the people staying in the area and there were never many people on the beach. The bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. the master bedroom& bathroom is spacious with a great shower & king bed. There were six of us with four teenage children, and we had plenty of room. Getting to our rental boat kept at the North Dock was quick walking distance or golf cart (plenty of parking).**RECOMMENDATION - when arriving on elbow, you should have your golf carts left at the LOWER DOCK instead of North dock. It’s just at the end of town, short drive away & is a mandatory stop for every ferry to/from Marsh Harbour. Reason If tide is low, the ferry cannot get to the north dock and you’ll get dropped at the lower dock-it always goes to the lower dock though.

Spectacular Setting

Setting is just as described in the listing. Scene off the back deck is fabulous. Sunsets were truly special. House was fully stocked with pretty much every thing one could need. Golf carts back and forth to town, and restaurants were fun and an adventure. Boat rental and dockage was exactly as described. All in all a wonderful place to relax, boat, kayak, fish, swim, etc! Loved it!

The house has all the amenities that you need! Not to mention the location and views are excellent. Make sure you rent a golf cart so you can get to town! Will definitely be back!
