Upon entering our room, it was 80 degrees on the thermostat, our room fridge was standing open with a wad of towels hanging out of the bottom of the fridge, onto the floor. Apparently trying to defrost the freezer? we had to open a window to get it to cool down enough to go to bed which also meant listening to traffic nonstop...

The staff for the most part where very friendly. Especially the breakfast staff they are very accommodating and very helpful. The room when I walked in smelt like poop. I don’t know if it was coming from the drain in the shower, but it was horrid. When I took off the sheets, the mattress cover had stains, which were blood and urine. It was so disgusting. I was there for five days because I had booked on Expedia and I could not cancel it. I asked for housekeeping several days in a row and finally got housekeeping the day before I left, which didn’t really help. I had to go downstairs to get toilet paper and more towels as I was completely out. I have pictures of everything, but it doesn’t seem. I’m able to post pictures on this review. I stay in Sioux City at least once a month and I will not be going back to this hotel.

Wow this is a great find! We booked last minute d/t incoming weather & also needed a pet friendly hotel. This was better than we imagined starting w a great downtown location, friendly, competent staff, large room, & great breakfast! Good pillows too! Highly recommend!

My husband recommended this hotel for his Christmas party, so everybody booked rooms, we booked one of the King with whirlpool so we could have his employees up for some drinks, as soon as we walked in the room this strong sewer smell hit us in the face, we ran water through the drains, thinking that would fix it, but it just made it worse, we said something to the front desk staff, but she said that all the rooms were full and just looked at my husband like he had asked for something over the top. We sprayed some Febreze, but everybody had came into the room commented so nobody stayed very long, very disappointed. I really like this hotel but if you get room 455. Just don’t plan on staying in it very long.
