This is our third trip to Danang this year, and since we stayed at the Marriott Danang the last two times, so we decided to stay in Hoi An at your resort this time. This resort is better than Marriott Danang in terms of facility, food, cleaniness, and the amazing/caring staffs who went out of their way to help us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Ocean-view suite on the 4th floor, and the room was roomy, clean and the view was spetacular overlooking Danang and the beach. But we have a small issue. The hallway leading from the elevator to our room had an "odor". It was like an "ammonia" smell? Not sure how to decribe it. Maybe someone pissed or threw up in the hallway, and although the hotel clean up the carpet, but the smell was still there. And there were "SCENT OIL" lamps in the hallway (I even have photos of this interesting decor). I think maybe a new carpet may do the job. Again, we really enjoy our stay and will be back again in a few months, and we will stay in the same suite. But I hope the "smelly" issue will be remedied when we are back in a few months.

The Highlights: Outstanding staff service made our stay truly memorable. Hannah expertly resolved a first-night room issue by coordinating with the Manager for a seamless room change. Thao provided exceptional help at both the R Bar and buffet breakfast service. Our spacious room featured a separate bedroom, main bathroom, lounge area, visitors’ toilet, and two balconies – one overlooking the pool, another with stunning ocean views to Cham Island. The complimentary shuttle to Hoi An town (20+ minutes away) was very convenient, and the extensive breakfast buffet was excellent. Minor Notes: Resort dining runs slightly higher in cost than expected, though quality justifies the pricing. Bottom Line: Exceptional accommodation with outstanding staff who go above and beyond. The beautiful room, convenient amenities, and extraordinary service easily outweigh any minor cost considerations.

A great resort about 15 minutes from Hoi A with a complimentary shuttle service into town. Really attentive staff that help with all your requirements. Top tip there is a small store and a great restaurant right opposite the hotel.

Our stay at the Renaissance was for 7 nights and when we first arrived the reception was warm & welcoming after our flight to Denang was delayed numerous times. We stayed in a suite with a seaview and it was spacious and really exceeded our expectations. We were tired but hungry so we tried the dinner buffet the first night but I was not impressed with the food. Consequently, the next day the breakfast buffet was also not a great experience as we found out this period was a local holiday and there were too many families with kids screaming in the dining area and many stations were not refilled and looked untidy. The gym also had children under the age of 12 using the equipment which I have never seen in a 5 star hotel. So I do not recommend that you go in the busy times. However, after the holiday everything improved, the resort was quiet and peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay there because of the exceptional staff who went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We really wanted a break from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh and this resort really has it all with a huge pool, beach and also tennis courts. Big shoutout to Cherry and Yuri who helped me naviagate my shopping in Hoi An and the spa was also a lovely experience with my facial and massage which I had there. Finally, Cherry also arranged a late checkout for us as our fight was in the late afternoon and that was really icing on top of the cake. I would go back again in a heartbeat!

The hotel is very nice, the breakfast is good but the problem was staff, it was all ok until check out when the hotel staff overcharged me for my stay despite me having an invoice from my booking, they increased the room rate on checking out, absolute rubbish for a big organisation this should not happen, no customer service at all and no transparency. I am currently disputing. Be careful when booking.

Good Place to stay, property shows signs of aging but overall better than many. Clean, staff are great, its a good place to relax knowing its at the end of Hoi An which there are no more tourist spots around, not a lot of people outside and its secluded. Has a private beach so no need to go to An Bang

Poor service/hygiene/safety, A/C not working!

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. While the overall property itself is great, the service at their restaurants was incredibly slow, and the food and beverage team was extremely disrespectful towards us. The management went out of their way to try and make it up to us by providing us with s complementary in-villa BBQ (which we thoroughly appreciated), but unfortunately the negative device experience continued and we had to often wait up to 1.5 to 2 hours for our food to arrive, for a basic order even. We also found a spider in our glass, and another glass had broken glass pieces in there - which is extremely disappointing from a basic safety and hygiene perspective. In addition to the above, the air conditioning in one of our rooms was not working throughout our 5 day stay - in spite of numerous attempts and us being patient, this never got resolved, which is quite frustrating given how much we paid for this trip. Overall our family was quite disappointed with our experience at this hotel and do not see this as a hotel that is set up to set up to accommodate families.

Disappointing experience despite the friendly staff. - Entire floor smelt damp and must have been recently water logged given the different carpet and uneven surface - Snacks in the mini bar were expired by 6 months - Room service limited to main meals only (no snacks despite being available in the bar lobby) - No power outlet in the bathroom made getting ready for my wife difficult - Bread/pastry items at the buffet breakfast tasted stale or days old - areas around the room and breakfast area were dated or dirty - jacuzzi facility looked really nice but they don’t leave you in as a married couple, each gender must stick to their own jacuzzi
