Our stay at Pezulu Tree House was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. And what an extraordinary experience to sleep in a tree house. We booked 2 whole-day tours in the Kruger park, a morning “Off the Beaten Track” and a Sunset tour with Akani, who is very talented, knowledgeable about wildlife and has laser eyes to spot animals in the far distance! The other highlight was the dining experience with great food in front of a fire pit. We definitely would love to come back !
We loved our stay at Pezulu! The staff is incredible and the atmosphere is truly unique. Accommodations are a little rustic but comfortable, and this is part of the allure. Food was excellent. Eating dinner outside fireside was great experience along with drinks in the bar at night with other guests. Highly recommended!
Pezulu Tree House Lodge was a great experience. We want to thank Mikayla for helping us plan this trip, Joe for great driving and showing us around Kruger, Charlotte for managing everything very well, and a special shout-out to Nathan who was incredibly accommodating of our vegetarian diet and created some great dishes for us. Thanks for everything to the whole Pezulu team for a great trip!!
The dream house was fascinating. We were able to sleep outside under the stars and when we woke up we were able to see girraffes pretty close! Baobab planting was a nice experience and Joe, our guide was extremely friendly and helpful! The food was very nice too.
Those tree houses are amazing!!! They have all
People are very friendly and always checking you and your preferences, bed was perfect, very clean around, food was delicious. Every detail is well made. It was a great experience to be there
Amazing intimate tree house with a infinite view on the horizon. Wild animals visiting down to eat and drink, super calm location. Extremely friendly staff and managers. Perfect stop in our journey.
Your in a treehouse with a great view. Make sure not to leave food out cuz the squirrels will get it . We saw a giraffe and zebra is an all kinds of animals walking in front of our treehouse. The sound of the birds was very relaxing
A very enjoyable night stop. Lindy took great care of all of us and nothing was too much of a problem. Highly recommend a bush walk with Mike as he’s very knowledgeable and the kids are still talking about it. Treehouse was comfortable and great fun to stay in. Delicious food was a bonus.

Fantastic Junior Rangers Program
Pezulu is a mix between a rustic bush camp and a backpackers, so don't expect a luxury lodge. Rooms are comfortable, although an airconditioning unit and a bar fridge in the rooms would be great. In the middle of summer it would very uncomfortable without an airconditioning unit in the rooms. The food is basic but tasty and well prepared. The local area in which Pezulu is situated hasn't got much to offer in terms of game, although there is much to do near by making it a great base to work from. A special mention is needed for the junior rangers program they present. Mike, the resident ranger, did an exceptional job of spending close to 3 hours with the kids, stalking Zebra, looking at ants and finding roots containing water and lots more. This was probably the best part of our whole trip. Once again thank you Mike for all your effort and the exceptional way you worked with the kids. Overall our stay at Pezulu was relaxing and comfortable.

Amazing lodge!
The sunset was beautiful from the balcony and we all slept well during the night. We enjoyed seeing the animals in the reserve of the lodge (giraffes, elephants, ostriches, impalas, etc.) Thank you very much Pezulu staff!
My aunt and I spent one night at Pezulu and really enjoyed the experience! Our treehouse was lovely and we'll equipped with modern comforts we wouldn't have expected (two bathrooms, cool outdoor shower, and great lighting). Breakfast and dinner were very nice, and the bar area was super cute. Only downside is wifi does not extend to the rooms and the location is about 1hr from Kruger. Other than that, great place to disconnect and we really enjoyed visiting the nearby Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (great recommendation by Pezulu staff!).
I had such high hopes for Pezulu Treehouse Lodge; I thought it was going to be the highlight of our trip to South Africa. However that was definitely not the case.
I wanted to surprise my husband with by sleeping under the stars on the last night of our trip. Unfortunately due to a booking error, that did not happen. I booked a specific room and when I got there it was not available and we were given a (less nice) different room. They apologized, but this is unacceptable.
Booking issues aside, this place was not my style. It's cheesy and dated. There are so many awesome places to stay in and around Kruger National Park. Don't waste your time here.
Vielen Dank
