Great winter getaway for families

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin and had fun times playing games in front of the fire. Well stocked kitchen and working grill made meals easy. View was great from the porch. Would stay again! Thanks!

Beautiful cabin, gorgeous views! The leaf colors right next to the cabin were changing and they were just so pretty! The sunset views were spectacular...the pictures just don't do it justice. This cabin was also stocked with everything you could possibly need! We loved it!

Mountain top relaxing with a view!

We enjoyed our stay at this eclectic mountaintop property! A few of the highlights were the sunsets on the porch, accommodating kitchen, big wood burning fireplace inside, outdoor gas firepit, puzzles and the view! Each day kept getting better with our stay.

A great family vacation

A wonderful family vacation! The home was lovely and the view was magnificent . We all enjoyed the deck area every morning and evening. Kitchen was well equipped. So appreciated that. The road up to the house is so curvy and fun. Fun to see some wildlife along the way.

Amazing View

We had an awesome time at this cabin with a breathtaking view. The driving up was a little rough but totally worth it. Very spacious with everything you will ever need. It has definitely been one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The entire family loved it.

One of the best properties we’ve stayed in, and we’ve stayed in quite a few. If you’re planning on cooking while staying there, you’re in for a treat. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, cookware, serving wear, spices and phenomenal appliances. Enjoy! We sure did.

Had a great time with family in this home. The hostess (Pat) is gracious and desires for those who stay to come and enjoy her place here far up a mountain with great views of the sights below. OMG! We loved, loved, loved this property! Amazing really. The house is beautiful and clean and the views are exactly as depicted, and even better. We loved the Kitchen, and the back porch! We spent alot of family time out there. The weather, even though it rained a bit was cooler and most enjoyable.. Pat was great to work with and we just enjoyed the entire stay! Thank you Pat!!!

Pictures can't capture the amazing view from this house. I have stayed in the Cashiers area for many years and the view of the mountains from the porch at this house is stunning. The house easily accommodates a family with the master on the first floor and three additional bedrooms on the second. The kitchen was well stocked and well equipped. Made several meals and had everything that I needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. Additionally, the home was very clean and well cared for. Loved the neighborhood, the home and the view. Will definitely be back on my next visit.

Very comfortable home, lots of fun decorations. Would have been nice to have TV in group room for football Saturday (according to male guests). Walk along Tower Road but no hikes from property. Short drive to Sapphire and Cashiers. Very fun to have access to Sapphire Resort including pools and putt putt golf.

We came to the area to attending a wedding and our family wanted a place with a view. The cabin was everything the description said and more! Very well stocked and tons of information provided not only about the cabin but the surrounding area and things to do. We were a little unprepared for the 10 minutes it took to get up the mountain but it was so worth it when you got there! We would highly recommend this property to everyone!

Luxury getaway - high mountain

Great location on the top of the mountain, creates long range mountain views. While there is a ton to do in the area, we have done all that. We found it most relaxing to stay at the house. The large covered deck allowed us to stay outside in all weather and relax. Highlight of the week was a large male black bear just wandering through the back (well below us on the deck) at 1:00pm in the afternoon, amazing creature. Please be safe with your food and garbage management, don't put the bear at risk! Highly reccomended.

Beautiful Mountain Views

We so enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely, clean and so well stocked with everything you need. The deck was our favorite spot. We even had a visit from a very chubby bear my grandson nicknamed "Harold". He was right below the deck in the ferns. He walked the path by where the cars were parked and meandered up the driveway. We thought we heard him the next night in the nearby woods but he didn't make another appearance. Our 7 yr old twin grands thought it was so cool. So did my almost 97 year old mom ! We definitely recommend the home and hope to come back ourselves!

We were 6 women for 4 nights during Hurricane Helene! Firmly grounded and high on the mountain we stayed put until the storm passed. We had a magnificent fireplace and plenty of wood. We filled the tubs and still had some degree of running water. With a very well appointed kitchen and a gas cooktop we were able to cook. We brought coolers and ice so we had plenty of safe (and delicious) food. After 2 days the Sheriff and a guardsman checked on us and gave us roadblock detour directions but we were out of contact with families until we could get off the mountain and into SC. We were so very fortunate compared to thousands whose lives have been touched, altered, and even destroyed by this storm. We will offer help to the victims and, one day, will return to the mountains. Thank you to our gracious hostess for her care and concern.
