A wonderful family getaway in a beautiful historic home!We had a phenomenal stay at this property for our family trip! The house is beautifully restored, incredibly spacious, and was more than large enough to give everyone in our group plenty of room to relax. The entire place was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for an stress-free week.The location in Hertford is fantastic. It’s tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, but close enough that we could easily walk right into the historic downtown area. It also served as the perfect central base for taking quick day trips to explore Edenton and Elizabeth City.The booking and check-in processes through VRBO were incredibly smooth, and the hosts were wonderful to communicate with from start to finish. If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-quality home base to experience classic small-town North Carolina, this is it. We would absolutely book this property again!
