The apartment is fully equipped with kitchenette and bathroom with washing machine, furnished in a modern style. Guests may have use of the garden. Supermarkets are open until very late at night, for shoping and cooking meals and breakfast.

The apartment was very clean. The bedroom has one full/double bed. There are two single/twin beds in the living room. We met Manolis the host. He was very accommodating. My daughters and I had a very relaxing time.

Small clean place in a beach neighborhood

We were met by our pleasant host and given clear directions about the place itself and how to get to local attractions. We were surprised there were no cookware at all, although provided a convenient oven and 2 burner stovetop. The clothes washer worked well. And having parking at the grocery next door was very convenient.

Fabulous host, convenient location

Property was clean and spacious. Next door to a supermarket makes getting groceries and other basics very easy. Location is convenient to many attractions on Crete. Our host was wonderful, providing excellent suggestions for daytrips and restaurants.

Lovely stay near Heraklion

My friend and I were on our first trip to the Greek islands and couldn’t be happier with Manolis and the apartment. It was conveniently located and comfortable. We only had a little trouble getting around Heraklion on the bus. But whenever we had questions Manolis was incredibly helpful and responsive. Thanks for a beautiful first experience in Greece.

We had a fantastic time in Kokkini Hani. Apartment was perfect for our needs, centrally located, right next to the supermarket and local shops. Only 20 minutes away from the airport. Short walk away from a blue flag beach with sunbeds for hire and decent snack bar . We were originally looking for easily accessible apartment and pushchair friendly streets and Kokkini Hani didn't disappoint. Apartment comes with a nicely kept front garden and shaded veranda which we used a lot for alfresco meals and play area for our son. The main road could be slightly noisy with traffic but we soon got used to it. It gets quieter in the evening. Also washing machine was a life saver with a messy two year old who loves sand. Clean and spacious, with decent kitchen facilities, air conditioning and comfortable beds. Our landlord Manolis was very helpful and kind, with lots of local knowledge. He organized our airport transfers with reliable taxi firm and was always on hand if needed. Local area has a nice playground that is fully shaded, next to a delicious ice cram place/ bakery . We also visited local aquarium for €6 each which was well worth it. There's a hop on/off land train that tours the area and good bus service to capital. The tourist season is just starting here and many places are just opening as more people arrive. The supermarket is well stocked and open 7 days a week until 11 pm. Lots of restaurants to choose from, authentic Greek food, great pizza, gyros, fresh fish and salads. Everyone is very helpful and friendly . Ideal for young families. Beaches are clean and looked after. We are planning to return next year and will definitely recommend Kokkini Hani and Aegialis apartments to family and friends.

Wir haben die zwei Wochen hier sehr genossen! Der Ort bietet alles was man braucht, GeschĂ€fte, Tavernen etc. Ist aber nicht so von Touristen ĂŒberlaufen wie andere Orte. Die Wohnung entspricht dem griechischen Standard, ist fĂŒr zwei Personen ausreichend groß und funktionell. Die Appartmentanlage ist wunderschön angelegt und man daher gut den Wein auf der Terrasse genießen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, spricht auch Deutsch und Englisch und macht seinen Job professionell.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Kokkini Hani. Das Apartment, wir waren im 1. Stock mit Balkon, ist zweckmĂ€ĂŸig eingerichtet, das Bad zwar sehr klein, aber fĂŒr 2 Personen ist alles völlig ausreichend. Die Lage ist gut, Supermarkt, Restaurants, Bushaltestelle, alles ist in unmittelbarer NĂ€he. Einen schönen Strand, Mitsis Rinela Beach, erreicht man zu Fuß nach 10 Minuten. Manolis hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, uns alles erklĂ€rt und Tipps gegeben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Worth a visit and stay

It was a great apartment and the owner was very nice and helpful. We had everything we needed and whenever we had questions we didn't have to hesitate to ask the owner. A clean apartment. A environ 8 km de Héraklion, trÚs propre, plage à 100 m; commodités à proximité. En revanche, la proximité de l'aéroport rend le coin plutÎt bruyant. Comme nous nous sommes beaucoup promenés, dans la journée il n'y avait pas de problÚme; en revanche les approches des avions toutes les 5 à 10 min jusqu'à minuit et plus et à partir de 6 hs ou moins chaque matin rendaient les nuits plutÎt courtes.
