Casa CASA ALOHA Palm oasis over the sea in the nature reserve in La Gomera

Our house CASA ALOHA is located near the beach Caleta in Hermigua, located on the nature reserve "Majona" on our FINCA MONTORO.
Our accommodation has a breathtaking view of nature in the middle of a palm tree oasis and the vast endless sea. The starry sky is sparklingly beautiful. Complete peace and relaxation are required.

CASA ALOHA is a ca 150 years old stone house and was restored by us personally with much love and details in self-direction. It has two equally sized rooms (living / bedroom) kitchen & bathroom and a beautiful terrace surrounded by palm trees.

Because it is located alone in nature, it is powered by our solar power and has pure spring water. All basic for a relaxing holiday are available, it is clean and well maintained. Bed linen and towel change is once a week or at any time as desired.
Directly from the front door start various hiking routes. (For the ADAC I wrote the first "la Gomera" hiking book) Our house is perfect for nature lovers ....

Note:
Since CASA ALOHA is located in the nature reserve, you drive about 7km -15 minutes on an unpaved road !! Therefore, the rental car should have permission to drive on such a road. The dirt road is very well developed - easy to drive wide enough in addition and a normal rental car can do it without problems. (See photos)

On arrival we accompany everyone for the first time. So you can get used to the dirt road.- I meet mostly at the pharmacy in the village and we drive together to the house. (Also late at night)

* We recommend a rented car which is allowed to drive on unperforated road.!

* The house is located in the countryside 15 minutes from the village of Hermigua .. (Note location description)

* Internet / WIFI from the living room, on the terrace and in the hammock you have the best reception)

* Hairdryer & iron should not be used as there is solar power on the whole finca!

Erholsamer Ort in zauberhafter Umgebung

Wer ein liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuslein, schöne Ausblicke für Seele u Herzerfrischung des Tages und des Nachts, Stille, wundervolle Wanderwege in alle Himmelsrichtungen sofort vor der Haustür, eine zugewandte und freundliche Vermieterfamilie, die gleich noch jede Menge Tipps für alle Bedürfnisse (nach dem besten Käsekuchen fragen!) hat, wer seine Erholung mit großartigen Ayurvedamassagen komplett machen möchte, diese Person ist an diesem Ort genau richtig. Wir waren 4 Wochen in diesem schönen Ferienhaus und haben uns die ganze Zeit so wohl gefühlt und das Leben genießen können. Vielen Dank liebe Kalay u lieber Txus für eure Bemühungen und Fürsorge!

Traumhaft schön gelegenes Ferienhaus

Die drei Ferienhäuser liegen mit wunderschönem Ausblick in einem Barranco am Rande des Naturparks Majona mit dem Auto etwa 20 Minuten von Hermigua-Zentrum aus zu erreichen. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl inmitten dieser wunderschönen Naturlandschaft. Unsere Gastgeberin Kalay hat uns vor Ort herzlich empfangen und im Laufe unseres Aufenthaltes mit vielen örtlichen Tipps und Anregungen versorgt. Wir fühlten uns bei Ihr im besonderen Maße gastfreundschaftlich aufgenommen. Unser Ferienhaus die Casa Aloha ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die ruhige Lage und die natürliche Umgebung trugen schnell zur Erholung und Entspannung bei. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Kalay und Ihrer Familie sehr genossen und freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen !

This place was a little piece of paradise !

We loved our trip on La Gomera, and staying at Casa Aloha was a big part of the reason why ! The location, in the middle of nowhere, between palms and cactuses, with a stunning view of the sea, silence and birds singing, stars at night, was magical. The dirt road to get to the house was a bit scary the first time, but by the end of the week we were quite used to it. Kalay has thought of every detail for our stay to be comfortable. I wish we could have stayed for longer ! We Will be back ! Thank you for everything .

Ein Ort, wo man sich selbst näher kommt

Um die lebendige Stille und meditative Energie dieses Ortes zu erfahren, muss man diese holprige Strasse auf den Berg hinauf bewältigen und auf sich nehmen- aber dafür lohnt es sich! Die Natur ist herrlich-die Möglichkeit direkt von der Finca aus Wanderungen zu machen, ist optimal und auch das Meer ist schnell erreichbar- zu Fuß durch eine längere, etwas herausfordernde Wanderung oder mit dem Auto. Die Vermieter sind sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit in jeder Notlage. Ich komme bestimmt wieder- insgesamt ist la Gomera eine Insel- wo man den Urkräften in ihrer Ursprünglichkeit begegnen kann. Auch von dieser Finca aus ist man mit Auto für Tagesausflüge schnell an jedem Ort der Insel.

Schatzfund!

Wer unberührte Natur und warmherzige Gastfreundschaft sucht, dürfte kaum etwas Besseres finden als das Casa Aloha. Eine einfache aber voll funktionale und sehr charmante Unterkunft, deren Eigentümer sich viel Lebensklugheit bewahrt haben. Die Zufahrt zu diesem kleinen Paradies verlangt zum Glück etwas Unternehmungsgeist.

Ein Traumurlaub ist zu Ende gegangen.

Ja leider!! Viel zu schnell war der Urlaub wieder rum. Doch die Anreise hat sich absolut gelohnt!! Ein sehr früher Flieger nach Teneriffa (06:30 Uhr) von Basel brachte uns in knapp 5 Stunden nach Teneriffa. (Reina Sofia ganz wichtig ) Von dort kommt man sehr gut und günstig mit dem Bus nach Los Christianos zum Hafen. Vorher evtl. die Fährverbindung checken, wir durften 5 Stunden warten aber wenn man eh schon im Urlaubsmodus ist kein Problem man kann sehr gut im Restaurant im Hafengebäude sitzen und essen. Vielleicht ist es besser den Busfahrer zu bitten einem zu sagen wo man aussteigen muss denn der Bus fährt nicht bis zum Hafen, wir sind prompt auch zu weit gefahren und mit einem Bus einfach wieder zurück. Das Handy hat uns dann sicher zum Hafen gelotst, zu Fuß 1000 Meter ist kein Problem wenn man Koffer mit Rollen hat. Fahrpreis für 2 Personen 6,40€. Oder man nimmt gleich vom Flughafen ein Taxi, hier habe ich gehört Preise zwischen 20 und 30 Euro. Drüben auf Gomera hatten wir ein Auto gemietet was man ja unbedingt sollte, Übernahme direkt am Hafen lief reibungslos. Die Fahrt nach Hermigua ist sehr schön und wenn man vorher mit der Vermieterin Kontakt aufgenommen hat wird man ruck zuck an der Apotheke abgeholt. Die Fahrt zum Ferienhaus ist wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben etwas abenteuerlich, aber absolut machbar. Die drei Häuschen die man dann vorfindet sind wirklich ein absoluter Traum in prachtvoller Lage. Abgeschieden und total ruhig. Als Wanderer tun sich alleine schon vom Haus aus viele Möglichkeiten auf, auf gut ausgeschilderten Wegen durch eine tolle zerklüftete Natur zu wandern. Baden am Strand unterhalb des Hauses war jetzt im März nicht möglich, aber man kommt über tolle kurvige Straßen ohne Probleme überall hin (Valle Gran Rey, Playa Santiago) Im Haus ist es gemütlich und genau so wie beschrieben. Empfang und Betreuung durch die Vermieterin und ihre Familie ist Top. Dieser Ort ist für Ruhe suchende absolut zu empfehlen !!!!! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Es könnte nicht schöner sein

Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage. Es war eine perfekte Abwechslung gegen das Dezembergrau in Berlin. Die Insel ist wunderschön und trotz ihrer kleinen Größe gibt es wahnsinnig viel zu entdecken. Das Häuschen ist herrlich und mindestens so schön wie auf den Bildern. Kalay und ihre Familie sind einfach super. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Einfach ein Ort nur zum Dasein und Entspannen. In der Hängematte liegen und auf die Palmen und das Meer schauen. Kalay und Txus sind ein außergewöhnlich nettes und freundliches Gastgeberpaar mit aufgeweckten Kindern. Danke noch für die leckeren Bananen und Mangos.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Einfach klasse!

Die Finca ist schön geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Durch die Alleinlage ist es absolut ruhig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und haben uns mit allerlei Früchten verwöhnt. Besser geht es nicht.

Den Aufenthalt in diesem schönen und sehr sauberen Ferienhaus haben wir sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt ganz oben auf einem Berg. Traumhafter Ausblick! Es hat einen besonderen Charme, den die Besitzer mit einer stilvollen Einrichtung vielen liebevollen und kunstvollen Details in der Dekoration betonen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Zum Baden und Wandern ist die Gegend ein Urlaubstraum! Das Ferienhaus ist einfach nur zu empfehlen!!!

Schon die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich-familiar. Die Finca ist ein Traum mit wunderbaren Blick auf die Berge, das Meer und den Nachthimmel voller Sterne. Wer Ruhe & Erholung sucht erhält sie hier zu 100%. Von hier aus kann man seine Wanderungen starten. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, so dass wir mit großer Sicherheit wiederkommen.
