This was the loveliest place we stayed. It's rural and the views are amazing. It is simple, quiet and relaxing and the staff are amazing and really made our stay special. They have a small menu for guests and the food is EXCELLENT! We will stay here again even longer next time we are in Crete.

Quiet setting outside Skalani

Three large, modern, comfortable residences located adjacent to (but not owned by) the Boutari winery tasting room. Plan on waking about 100 m from the winery parking lot. Beautiful view. Quiet setting, not like the craziness of Heraklion nearby. Breakfast served on the patio outside the apartment.

We had an amazing 2-night stay. The location, surrounded by vineyards and orchards, is wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious and were served on our private terrace overlooking the countryside. It is a very short drive from Knossos, and easily accessible from Heraklion, although a car is advisable.

This is a really beautiful boutique property, just a short drive into the hills from Heraklion. The welcome was well organised and so friendly. The breakfast was AMAZING. The setting is so pretty. It is just a short drive to Knossos Palace. The suite was very spacious and beautifully appointed. There was a good amount of space for the three of us.

Beautifully appointed rooms located right on the vineyard. Fantastic shower and large living space plus outdoor seating for a great view of the vineyard during the excellent breakfast they serve. What really made the stay memorable was the hostess Chrisi's hospitality. She was delight and so helpful when we had any questions or needed anything. Thanks Chrisi! Would definitely stay there again. Also the wine is very good, worth picking up a bottle!

A beautiful location in a vineyard in a renovated farm house. Peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed a lovey breakfast on the veranda surrounded by grape clusters and in the shade of a fig tree.

Beautiful, relaxing location. It's quite remote, but we managed without a car. It's not far from Knossos. Liatiko room has its own private terrace, with a fantastic view.

Scalini Hills is an absolutely beautiful property!! Everything about our stay was lovely!! Breakfast was delicious and was served on our terrace overlooking the vineyards. Try some of their wines, Boutari, as they are very good!!

We had a wonderful time. George greeted us and settled us into our room, we had a lovely wine tasting and George gave us some history of the winery and advised a local restaurant where we could have dinner. It was very nice. Great quiet location.
