We really loved our stay at Lugo! We stayed in a mountain view room and enjoyed hanging out on the balcony before going to bed to listen to the surrounding nature. The location is quiet, but near the beach and only a short drive to some tasty restaurants. The owners are very friendly and made us a yummy breakfast! The resident kitties, Meowmeow and Meow, are an added bonus!

Nice hotel at an isolated location

I stayed with my wife and son. Overall we were happy about the hotel, but not the location (which was our fault) Plus - Comfortable beds - Bruce prepared the breakfast for us both days and we loved it. Coffee was great as well. - Great ambience with personal touch - Very easy check-in and check-out Areas of improvement - They don't make up room every day, this was like being in a serviced apartment. This surprised us a bit. - The wash-basin was in the room and not inside the bathroom. This was little awkward. - It would work only if you are driving - No lift (although they haul your luggage upstairs) - The location is best for people who love a quiet place far from the main city and want to go surfing at nearby beach. The place is in the middle of a small village far from the markets and the buzz of the tourist place. Nearest restaurant is 15 kms drive. However few attractions are nearby.

Great getaway

Wonderful, small hotel in a very quiet and relaxing beach town. The room was modern, comfortable and the whole place is tastefully decorated. The beach is very close, less than 5 minutes walk, you can actually see the ocean from the hotel. Owners are superfriendly, very helpful and welcoming. A simple, but delicious homemade breakfast is served. The eco-friendly toiletries are also a nice detail.
