Fall vacation
I don't usually write a review, but I always read the reviews before I book. So here goes: I booked this home in mid March. I never received any information via email or regular mail about the house and our rental agreement. I called several times before I got a receipt for the first paymet, never received any rental info, ever. I made the last payment one month prior to our arrival and was told the manager would meet us at the house with all instructions. She did meet us as told. Thank goodness, because I had nothing in writing. The house was nice, clean, comfortable; however, the heat did not work. Repairman came but had to order a part. Guess what...... it never got fixed. The manager said she would "comp" us for the inconvenience of no heat. But as of today, November 10, I have not received any refund of any sort. We enjoyed the house, even though we had no heat or air. The gas fireplace came in handy. And of course we could open the windows. This house has 3 bedrooms, the master, a second bedroom with 2 full size beds and 3rd bedroom with a single bed, trundle bed, and upper loft single bed. Well, my husband and I ended up in the 3rd bedroom. Imagine a 70 year old climbing a ladder each night to go to bed! This house would be ok if the 3rd bedroom was for children, but it sure wasn't good for old folks. We had a nice time in spite of these things; however, I will not stay here again.
