Knockout views

We come to Henderson several times a year to fish with Lots-A-Limits and AJ's Anglers Edge charters. We wanted access to a kitchen and waterfront. This Vrbo delivered both in spades. And great views too!

Eclipse trip

The house was very adequate. Beautiful sunrises! Real nice view of the harbor and beyond. The only negative was the outside trash can was full when we got there. And the water had a bad smell.

Henderson Harbor.

A nice place to stay for a beautiful view. The host was friendly and accommodating. The house itself was a mix of new and old where they had remodeled some of the house, but not all of it. The view was amazing, but unfortunately for us we were there at a bad time because there was a constant swarm of May Flies that kept us from enjoying the balcony. I would stay there again.

Everything you need.

House was clean inside. Had everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Needs a lot of work outside, but for the price that is offered you can close your eyes on all imperfections 😉.

Owner was GREAT and responded quickly with any questions. Place is beautiful. Very clean. Very roomy. View was awesome. The owner had EVERYTHING there that you could possibly think of wanting or needing. Water toys, board games, supplies—everything! Thanks for a GREAT time!

Disappointing Stay – Only the View Was Worth ItUnfortunately, our stay was far from what we expected. The place was infested with mice, and we discovered that a bat was actually nesting in the house. One even flew around at night after we opened a jammed window upstairs. The internet wasn’t working because the bill hadn’t been paid, and the grill was so dirty it couldn’t be used. The bed in the downstairs room was also extremely squeaky, which made it difficult to get a proper night’s sleep.The only real positive was the view — it was beautiful. But sadly, that didn’t make up for the many issues we encountered.

Gonna be Great

Honestly - this will be a great place when the owner gets all the projects we is obviously working on competed. At this point it in our humble opinion was not ready for rental in its current condition. It is easy to tell the owner is on track to making this comfortable and tidy. As my brother said - he would love to buy the place and live their full time and fix it up. Cleaning was lacking in some places .. primarily in the coffee pot which had old grounds caked in it that were green and pink. We did a lot of cleaning to make it comfortable. Check this place out down the road as it will be nice. Gorgeous views.

First stay

First time staying in this home. Was the only home this size we could find. The check in and checkout was simple and he did not require us to clean or take out garbage. His communication was very good. But...and I hesitate to ever be negative but do feel I have to say the property is in very rough shape. I did not have a door to my bedroom on the hinges, or any sort of window covering, multiple wall switches have exposed wiring, several mattresses are just on the floor. There is a VERY loud pump that kicks on every time the water is used, to the point where no one could use any water at night or wake everyone in the entire house. I understand it's possible to be mid-process on a large project but the home was also quite dirty with cobwebs in every window and windows stuck shut. It's not expensive to be clean. The exterior is extremely shabby. Paid for the location, but the home needs work. Helpful homeowner who was nice and also very communicative but ultimately quite expensive for the quality. The lake in general has a LOT of bugs. Like a lot a lot. Swarms of spiders - literally and really - swarms. Obviously bugs are not the homeowners fault but renter be aware the bugs are a thing in summer.
